Now that all the links of me begging you to follow/friend me are out of the way...:P Oh, and since my profile is so long, I've put the most important stuff in bold so it's easier to find. ;)

About me:

First off, I am a Christian and my goal in life is to serve the Lord. My name's Kaitlyn. I'm a teenaged girl. I abuse the caps lock button and go overboard with italics sometimes. I'm proud to call myself a homeschooler, and I'm very random and weird (no, homeschooling doesn't make me weird, I'm just a weird person who happens to be homeschooled). I own over 200 books, so, yeah, I love to read. Writing is my life; it consumes me and I am constantly coming up with new ideas and stories.

I am also insanely obsessed with book covers. I admit I have been known to purchase a book solely based on my love for its cover. Anyway, I love all genres: fantasy, sci-fi, dystopian, steampunk, contemporary, historical, paranormal. And I also have an extreme devotion to period dramas. After all, you just can't get past the pure amazingness of Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and Jane Austen's talented pieces of work, particularly my favorites, Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.

My username: I used to be LucySwann28, but I've changed it to LucyEverdeen28. The reason being that I didn't want people to assume the "Swann" part was from Twilight. I despise Twilight with a passion, and the "Swann" part was actually after Elizabeth Swann from Pirates of the Caribbean. Anyway, I chose the name Lucy because of Lucy Pevensie from the Narnia series, and Everdeen after Katniss Everdeen from the Hunger Games books. They're two of my favorite fictional characters.

I love the Chronicles of Narnia. Both the books and the movies are so special to me and played such an important part in my life growing up, and just the word Narnia brings so many good memories. :) I am also a crazy fan of dragons. Random fact: I even have dragon earrings. I usually employ my spare time writing, reading, watching movies, listening to music, staring at my pretty bookshelf, obsessively cleaning my room, and wondering where to put new books since my bookshelves are all full.

Anyway, here's the whole favorites thing...for anyone who actually is willing to sit through and read all my lists. If you'd ever like to discuss books/movies/music, just shoot me a message. :)

My fanfics: I wish I could talk about all the multi-chaptered fanfics I'm in the process of writing, but unfortunately that's not true. I've only written two multi-chaptered fanfic that are complete. I'm more than willing to take requests for fanfics, so just send me a message if you have one.

UPDATE AS OF 5/15/12: I'm working on a multi-chapter fanfic - get the details and updates here: I'm a huge fan of the new Amazing Spider-Man movie (plus Andrew Garfield is drop-dead gorgeous!), and after it seeing it a few times I felt inspired to write a fanfic for it. I'm writing the "book version" of it, if you will, from Gwen's POV. So far the first nine chapters are up. I try to update roughly every two weeks. Right now I'm working on the next chapter, and it should be up by the end of this week.

Downton Abbey updates: I have several ideas for Downton Abbey fics, and I really want to write them soon, so keep checking here for news.

Eventually, I'd like to write an Avengers or Thor fanfic, just a little something from Loki's POV because he's one of my favorite characters ever. (Really. He's not a bad guy. He's just misunderstood!) I might write it in a couple months or so.

Favorite pairings:

Narnia -

Caspian/Ramandu's Daughter (I hate Caspian/Susan)

Eustace/Jill (So cute, and I wish there were more fanfics on them)

Cor/Aravis

Digory/Polly

The Hunger Games - (WARNING: Mockingjay spoilers)

Peeta/Katniss (Because they are the most adorable couple in the entire universe, and Peeta is the sweetest guy ever and I could ramble on about him for ages, but he and Katniss belong together. NOT Katniss and Gale, the annoying aggressive dude who practically killed her sister. Peeta and Katniss. Forever. 'Nough said.)

Finnick/Annie (I come this close to crying whenever I think about them... *sob*)

Cato/Clove (So most people think they're just savage killers, but I think they had a heart. And they cared for each other, in their own way. So, great couple.)

Haymitch/Effie (Ever since the movie came out, people have been saying they would make a good couple. I gotta say, they'd be kind of cute...:D)

Percy Jackson and the Olympians/Heroes of Olympus -

Percy/Annabeth (Naturally, I can't stand Rachel, so of course Annabeth wins out)

Jason/Piper

Frank/Hazel

(Ya know what this means, right? Leo's still single! Yay! I volunteeeer!)

BBC Robin Hood -

Robin/Marian (One of my favorite couples...they are so cute together!)

Will/Djaq

Pirates of the Caribbean -

Will/Elizabeth

Jack/Angelica

Philip/Syrena

Inkheart -

Farid/Meggie (I HATE Doria, why did he have to come and take Meggie away from Farid??)

Anne of Green Gables -

Gilbert/Anne

Walter/Una

Ken/Rilla

Cranford -

Dr. Marshland/Mary Smith

Dr. Harrison/Sophy

William/Peggy

Doctor Who -

Ten/Rose (Oh my word, they are so amazing together)

Amy/Rory

Eleven/River Song

Eleven/Clara (I know, shoot me, but I think they'd be cute)

Downton Abbey -

Matthew/Mary (I ship them sooo hard, you guys. You have no idea what my poor little fangirl heart goes through)

Mr. Bates/Anna

Branson/Sybil

William/Daisy

Well, congrats for making it to the bottom of the page. I know this is super long, haha, but I'm quite random and I love to talk. ;) If you ever wanna chat or ask me any other questions, just send me a message!

Enjoy my stories, and a huge thank you for reading them!
