12/13/07 -- And another year has gone by. This year has been crazy, and I've been itching to finish chapter 35 for most of it, but haven't had the time. Work has been kicking my butt-- it seems all I do is play catch-up after some family crisis, or have five things due at once (welcome to the world of academia!) My father had a heart attack in January, and my grandfather passed away in August. My grandmother's currently staying with us and I'm in the process of moving out again. Everything's been going on all at once for most of the year. At any rate, I'm finally getting the rest of December off from work, in what I hope will be truly relaxing vacation time. One of my goals is to finish at least chapter 35 of Sight Unseen, if not the rest of the fic. And maybe some other things. Thanks to those that are still waiting -- I'd love to hear that you're still out there!
11/28/06 -- Dang, it's been a year. I'm really sorry for
that. Chp. 35 of Sight Unseen is still in the works. I need
time to sit and write, honestly. I just moved _back_ home for a
new job, so this past year has been a lot of moving around-- the living
room of my parents' house still has a ton of my stuff in it, that needs
to be moved out of there so the Christmas tree can go up. I
hardly have time to _read_ fanfics at the moment, let alone
write. Although I have several big storyline ideas running
through my head that I wish I could get down on paper/ the computer--
all for Inuyasha, oddly enough. I'm debating on working on one of
them, however, due to recent developments in the manga. I'm not
abandoning my stories, though, so please don't give up on me!
Feel free to bug, it honestly does motivate me. And I'm still
working on my Howl fic, as well.
5/04/06 - Wow, how time flies. And here I thought I'd be on a
roll, and actually get the next chapter done quickly-- but work and
other things are still priority right now. I'm working on it, but it's
slow going, as usual-- most of my inspiration seems to have deserted
me. I'm also working on a Howl's Moving Castle fic, which I can
hopefully get done soon, as well! I have so many ideas, but my fingers
don't want to put them down on paper, for anything! Please bear with
me-- I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, I've just apparently
lost most of my drive to write... Things were so much easier when I was
a simple undergrad student... lol.
11/13/05-- I just posted Chp. 34 of Sight Unseen, so I hope you will
all enjoy it! I'm still working through the next chapter,
though. It's fairly rocky, so please cross your fingers that I
can get inspired sometime soon! I just made a move 11 hours away
from home, and finished my masters degree a couple of months ago, so my
life has been extremely crazy lately. Thanks to those to do let
me know they're still reading! And for those that don't, for still reading anyway!
