Author has written 5 stories for Star Wars, and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

I am an American student living in New York, and I'm an avid science-fiction geek, as well as a self-professed history nut. If you have a question about anything history related, don't be afraid to PM me questions. I'm always looking for excuses to spout history trivia.

Also, FYI: Updates for Change of Destiny, Game of Deception and Moments in Time have been suspended until about the first weekend in June. College scholarship applications will be dominating the free time I've reserved for writing stories. Rest assured, however, that I am not abandoning them, and have every intention of completing each story.

For all you other budding authors out there, I recommend you visit Jim Butcher's journal: http://jimbutcher.livejournal.com/ . It has been unbelievably helpful as I continue to work on my stories. Or just read it for kicks. Butcher's a riot. If you've read the Dresden Files, the tone is very similar and the humor is amazing.

I am on FictionPress.com, as well, also as CommChatter: http://www.fictionpress.com/u/916870/CommChatter. The original fiction I have started over there is:

The Sons of Liberty: It is 2150, and the world as we know it has been destroyed. A global Empire has risen, all resistance crushed mercilessly. A small group of rebels, calling themselves the Sons of Liberty, are given what sounds like an impossible mission: kill the Emperor.

Enough about me...

We humans do, when the cause is sufficient, spend our own lives. We throw ourselves onto the grenade to save our buddies in the foxhole. We rise out of the trenches and charge the entrenched enemy and die... We are, when the cause is sufficient, insane."

-Orson Scott Card

Quotes Horse/Farm People can Appreciate:

Beware: I am a farm girl, which means I have access to a pitch fork, I can throw a forty pound bale of hay, and I'm not afraid to scream at a fifteen hundred pound horse that has just stepped on my foot. You will not be a problem.

At the state horsebowl competition when asked what the word 'hippophile' means... "A horse pedophile?" -My best friend, Reagan (hippophile actually means 'lover of horses' but the team got a good inside joke out of that)

"When life gets you down, saddle up!"

"Whoever said money can't buy happiness never bought a horse."

"You might be a farm kid if you lose your eyelash curler in a pile of cow shit. Lol." - Reagan, on a Facebook post about another friend, Amy

A picture of a bull's caption: "Cross the line, your ass is mine."

Picture of two horses and a donkey. "There's one in every crowd."

Favorite quotes:

"Do you know what the definition of insanity is? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

"So it wasn't my fault. I didn't start World War Three. I just got possessed by an evil spirit. That's a relief!"

-Leo Valdez, to Piper McLean, The Mark of Athena

"I try not to think. It interferes with being nuts."

-Leo Valdez to Hazel Levesque, The Mark of Athena

"Someone tossed a bag of explosives at my car. And followed it up with the freaking pixie death squadron from hell."

-Harry Dresden, to Molly Carpenter, Cold Days

"Thwart. To prevent someone from accomplishing something by means of visiting gratuitous violence upon his smarmy person."

-Harry Dresden, to Sarissa, Cold Days

"Dammit, Dresden, I'm a medical examiner, not an intelligence analyst."

-Waldo Butters, to Harry Dresden, Cold Days

"Old Chinese proverb say, 'Patient man receive best outcome.' That was Confucius, I think. Or maybe from fortune cookie."

-Xian Tsiu, to Jaym, The Fires of New Sun

"You're not going to the Dark Side on my watch. Do it on Luke's,"

-Corran Horn to Anakin Solo and Tahiri Veila, Edge of Victory II: Rebirth

"If I feel the urge to tattoo my face, I'll be sure to let you know."

-Jaina Solo to Tenel Ka, Dark Journey

"You have no idea what you're up against."

"Shakespeare in the park? 'Dost mother know you wear-eth her drapes?'"

-Thor and Tony Stark, The Avengers

"Who does she think she is? Sarah Palin?"

-Tony DiNozzo to Tim McGee, NCIS

"Sorry to interrupt dinner just as it was getting interesting, but I'm afraid we've got to blow some bad guys into small pieces,"

-Han Solo to Imperial Commander Dorja, Destiny's Way

"No! I'm a politician, I can't tell the truth!"

-Cal Omas to Luke and Mara Skywalker; Destiny's Way

"Damn ninjas!"

-Roadblock to Snake Eyes, G.I. Joe: Retaliation

"Let's face this. It's not the worst thing you've caught me doing."

-Tony Stark to Pepper Potts, Iron Man

Upcoming attractions, in order of importance:

Unfound: 1 BBY, Jedi Knight Ardeth Vao and the smuggler Mirana are on a supply run to the planet Ryloth when they make a discovery that could turn Ardeth's world upside down. Same universe as Change of Destiny.

Altered Fate, sequel to Change of Destiny: .5 BBY. The death of a family member sends Anakin Skywalker in a free fall to the Dark Side of the Force. As the Emperor's Death Star nears completion, Luke and Jinn Skywalker must embark on a dangerous journey to bring their father back before he is consumed...

Trouble on Kuat: 2 ABY, Jinn Skywalker and Raoul Tano run into their own brand of trouble when they are forced to visit Kuat for repairs to their starship. Same universe as Change of Destiny.

Fulfilled Destiny, end of the Change of Destiny Trilogy: 4 ABY, Eighteen year old Grace Skywalker, now a part of the resurrected Renegade Squadron, under the command of her brother, Jinn Skywalker and Raoul Tano, must work in tandem with Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron to bring down Coruscant's planetary shields while the Skywalker twins and Ardeth Vao must lead a mission into the very heart of an Imperial base. What they don't know is that the failure of one mission will lead to the failure of the other...

Dark World: crossover between 24 and Star Wars: Jedi Knights Corran Horn and Kyp Durron have tracked Dark Jedi to an unchartered world. While there, the duo are forced to work with CTU to capture them before it's too late. As the investigation continues, they realize that the consequences of failure will effect not just Earth, but the entire galaxy...

I have now jumped on the copy and paste bandwagon (don't worry. These are the only ones I'll put up):

OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE

Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape.

He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault.

Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition.

Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion.

Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims.

Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault.

Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement.

Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason.

He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
