Hi, I am a volunteer railwayman from the UK, hence the pen name which refers to 'The Man of Kent' Express, one of the Southern's named trains.

As I am a railwayman, railways will be portrayed correctly with the correct job titles, etc. (such as the ‘guards’ at King's Cross in Harry Potter who are actually porters or ticket inspectors as guards are the railway equivalent of a ship's captain and work on the train is not the station).

Mini rant over, I have a really random selection of interests and will write for which ever inspiration strikes me (and probably whichever I'm reading fan fiction of at the time).

Also due to my my everyday life, I do not know if I will be able to keep a regular update schedule with my stories so I apologise in advance if there are any long waits, but I will try to have ‘buffers’ of finished chapters.

Also I am using Speech recognition dictation software that is new and not completely trained to my voice so it occasionally comes up with an ‘interesting’ wrong word, though I do use spell checker and the PC to read it back to me this still do slip through, otherwise:
