LETTER OF EXPLANATION
To All Who Stumble Into This Profile,
It's been a long time since I've written anything. I could attribute that to lots of different things. Family issues. Friendship dramas. The monotonous, yet demanding work load from school.Simply the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Not to mention HORRIBLE cwriter's block.
My last fan fic was published in May of 2004. I was at the end of my Sophomore year, my only obsession in life was Harry Potter, school was manageable, friends and family were perfect. It was so easy to take an hour or two out of the day, pound out some good paragraphs, and post up a story.
After the summer of '04, however, I entered Junior year- my life began to change. Classes were harder. College looked at lot closer on this side of the fence and the pressure to succeed increased tenfold. Family issues that I never knew about became part of my every day responsibility. Friends were more confusing to deal with than ever. Suddenly, those two hours of writing stories never made it to the top priority of my list where they once were.
Despite all the hardships...I am coming to you with good news.
This year, my life again took another turn- but this time for the better. As a Senior, my life goals were clear, and I knew exactly what to do to accomplish exactly what I wanted. The dust with friends and family settled. Life became happier. And suddenly...with the appearance of new Fandoms...ideas for stories began to resurface in my mind.
It is now July of 2006. Two years since I last published a story. And it finally seems as though I may be able to write again.
There are, of course, some differences. A lot has influnenced my writing in these past two years. I had two AP courses in English which proved to teach me more about literature and writing than I knew was out there. I've obviously grown up- so I am now equipped with more knowledge and experiances about life than before. I've been able to study, read, mimick, and observe how others write and incorporate that into my stlye. My style and tone and voice has matured and grown more confident. Not to mention the fact that two years has given me time to delve into other Fandom universes and more time to explore the ones I was already in.
Over the summer, I plan to start writing again. And to commemorate the event, I decided that I needed a new image, if you will, to go along with this new author I have become. Therefore, although my first three stories will remain forever under this profile...it is in my new profile that my new writings will take place. Who knows...I may even update the ones I have and join them with my new material.
I hope that I will be able to uphold the reputation I earned from my earlier fics when I begin to bring in my new writings. Differences are to be expected, but so long as I continue to entertain just one single person, than my writing is justified. Hopefully my older fans/reviewers will be able to make the transition with me and that I will gain new ones in the future.
Regardless, I hope to see you around my new material The new links and info are found below. And thank you for your attention, understanding, and support.
Sincerly,

THANK YOU TO MY REVIEWERS
When I first joined FanFiction.net , it was only for the opportunity to leave registered reviews on stories. But one day, I was bit by the bug and decided that I ought to give it a shot. Although my success was only for a short time and in only three stories, it was more than I expected and each time it was special to me.
To the fans and reviewers of "A Letter, A Date, A Disaster" ---
This wasn't the first thing I ever wrote...but it did hold a lot of "First's." It was the first fully planned story I wrote- I always knew exactly where to take it. It was the first story that had chapters, a plot line, and an actually interesting premise. It was my first time experimenting with twists, cliff hangers, and even character actions. It was the first story I was proud of.
You can only imagine the fear I had when I decided to post it here. I had written eight chapters already, with more ready to be done, but I hinged it all on the success of the story. I told myself that as long as one person wanted more, they would get more. The first chapter had3 reviews- one chock full of suggestions to only improve the fic, and two telling me to post more. I posted the second chapter...then the third...the fourth...by Chapter 7 I had 14 reviews...and enough confidence to just continue the full story. And at it's conclusion, it ended as a 14 Chapter fic with 67 reviews. Each one a first and each one meaning a lot to me.
So to anyone who read my first story, liked it, favorited it, and reviewed it -- you all hold special meaning to me. Without you, I never would have continued on...
To the fans and reviewers of "Her Greatest Fear" --
A quick idea that became a one shot that actually got reviwers! And sparked a few debates! lol. It made me feel good that I had retained some success and from then on, I felt good enough to quit worrying so much and just write!
To anyone who read this story and/or reviewed it- you helped me overcome my fears of inadequecy, taught me it was not the end of the world when people disagreed with a fic, and, most importantly...wanted more...
To the fans and reviwers of "D'You Want to Move a Bit Closer"
This was quite honestly the funnest fic I had written so far. I was at the peak of my Ron/Hermione shipper phase and trying to get through my first case of writers block when this came into my head. I was so eager to write again, that I couldn't decide on just one idea...so I decided to just go with them all and hopefully the public would like it. So five one shots became a five-part, different point of views, alternate ending saga.
And in my opinion...my most successful fic of the three.
My confidence shot through the roof as I was complemented on each scenario, keeping everyone in charater, the idea...and most meaningful to me...the actual style of my writing. I hadn't had anything like it before and it was enough to keep me interested in writing.
Although it was my last fic before my draught...it was my favorite. It was a blast to write...and each review made me smile. So to ANYONE who EVER left a review in that story, and even to anyone who will in the future, this fic is my favorite...making YOU my favorite reviwers.
To All my Fans and Reviewers...
Whether you left a simple "OMG, plz write more," tips on my grammar, or even something that challenged me...each one of you has played a part in shaping the writer I am now. I will always be thankful that you liked my stories and even honored that I was able to entertain you. Thank you so much for all you've done- whether you are aware of it or not.
LOOKING AHEAD
Whether you're an old fan or a new curious person I hope that I can continue to entertain you with my stories. Over the next few months I will be writing like I never have before and hopefully by the Fall of 2006, I will have begun posting them all.
You can expect to see stories from the following fandoms right away: Harry Potter, Danny Phantom, and Twilight. In time, you may also get things for Avatar, Law and Order: SVU, Psych, and perhaps Pirates of the Caribbean. I never know when a new idea will hit me or from what fandom it may be from. One thing is for sure though-- it may be a romantic, fluffy, one-shot or a multi-chapter, action packed sage...but either way...it will be a quality story.
Should you make the trip over to my new profile, image, and material, I promise that you will not be disappointed.
