My name is Christine, I'm (almost) sixteen, and I like FanFiction so much that I probably need a twelve-step program to get over it. I like stories that include OCs, unconventional pairings, and grammatically correct writing. Please, please, please proofread before you post things. Occasional slips are one thing; frequent and constant errors are another monster entirely. They make your work look sloppy and lazy, and will drive people away from your stories. If I'd started out my profile with "hi my name s christine an i like lots. of things," I highly doubt you'd have continued to read to this point. It's the same thing with stories. It detracts from your plot, so even if you have an amazing storyline, people won't be able to enjoy it. I apologize to anyone and everyone who I've neglected here, both authors and readers. I won't make excuses because I know they mean nothing, but I truly am sorry for my absence. I'll try to get up to date as soon as possible, but by no means will my updates or reviews or responses or whatever it is that you may be waiting for be on a schedule, efficient or otherwise. More about me: - I'm a grammar nazi. If I ever have a typo in any of my stories, please let me know so that I can fix it immediately. I do the same to almost every fic that I read, and I would hate to be a hypocrite. - I refuse to put disclaimers in any of my stories, because if I owned any of the stories or characters from the domains I write in, then I would have no need to write FanFiction. - Please, learn the difference between criticism and a flame. I am quite tired of people who can't take a negative comment and use it to better themselves. If somebody is needlessly and ruthlessly attacking you or your story, then yes, that is a problem. But if somebody says that you are going out of character, or that you aren't being realistic, or that you need to work on your writing style or flow, it is just an opinion. They are telling you because they want to help you to improve, not because they are trying to hurt you. - On that note, if you see an issue with my writing, please do not hesitate to tell me.
