Author has written 14 stories for Ninja Turtles, Teen Titans, Batman: Under the Red Hood, and Warcraft. Well, hello there! I'm honored that you felt up to scanning the stories I have published and decided that the author behind them might lead some sort of an interesting life. All in all, I'm just a nerd turned aspiring novelist. I love school and learning most of the time, save for when they take from the time I can spend dreaming up my next piece. I absolutely adore the Ninja Turtles, and most of my current contributions will be about them. That's not to say I won't branch out eventually, but don't get your hopes up. Lol. As with all authors, I love to hear from the public, both the good and the bad. Hearing the good just strokes my ego and leaves me walking around with a stupid grin on my face for the next half hour and occasionally sparks another idea. Hearing the bad knocks me down and sends me scurrying to my notebooks, pouring over what I've written and improving them. So either way we all win, and I remain grounded in the fact that I am not the next Shakespeare. And I will always appreciate errors in grammar, spelling, continuity, etc. being pointed out as they are seen. I generally post what I have written, whatever that may be, but really only if I have an idea of where the next chapter is going. Sometimes, the stories write themselves, and then only at random intervals. Then I am left with merely providing pen, pencil, paper, and hard drive space as needed. I will admit that I have a hard time wrapping up stories before the next plot bunny is born, so please, forgive me if I don't post part of the one story you wish me to when you wish me to do it. I promise I'll get there...eventually. AUTHOR'S UPDATE, 05/10/11: Sorry I kinda went off the grid for a bit. The tornado outbreak obliterated my hometown, so understandably, I haven't had the time or resources to devote to my stories. We are slowly recovering some sense of normalcy, and I hope to be publishing again soon. AUTHOR'S UPDATE, 06/13/11: The little guy that is now my avatar (or should be my avatar shortly) is the dog I treat like he's my kid. We're both camped out in my room, waiting for the work crew to leave so I can get to the other end of the house. I'm actually hoping to get something accomplished today, so...we'll see what happens. :) AUTHOR'S UPDATE 07/03/11: So who actually reads these? Anyway, I've kinda got stuck in angst-land and the plot bunnies are chewing off my toes. They will not be ignored! Unfortunately, this means that the minion army and I are gonna try to see how close I can come to making y'all cry in a story. Posting may slow. I know I've been publishing something every three to six days, but during the emo-fest, I am going to into some serious editing and bring as many beta readers as are willing along with me. Message me if you are interested, please! In other news, I do have a job now, and I should shortly have a second one (my old one that the tornado blew away!:). Going back to help them out. They are going to need experienced workers for a little while, so through at least December, I may have to go on an enforced hiatus. :/ But don't worry! I'm going to finish Recovery in the next couple weeks (I hope!) and move on to one of the others that I have shamefully neglected in the intervening months. OW! BAD PLOT BUNNY! LEGGOLEGGOLEGGO!!! *bows* Excuse me, I must now maim the creature that is intent on burying my pencil...COME HERE YOU LITTLE...!! AUTHOR'S UPDATE 07/04/11: Yes, I know I'm updating two days in a row. I'm going to be working on an entry for a contest on DA. Once I'm through and if I get the originator's permission, I will post it here. That story will probably be consuming my life for the duration of the contest. Just so y'all know. It's me again, 08/13/11: Finally branching out into other fandoms. 07/13/12: WOW. It has been one long hiatus. I'm sorry I've kept so many of you in suspense on a couple of my pieces; ideas just have NOT been flowing. I just wanted to check in and let y'all know that I'm still planning on writing a conclusion to Recovery (yes, STILL), and flesh out a couple of other stories. Just waiting...waiting...waiting... Anyway, I'm alive, awake, alert, and motivated (AND ENGAGED!). And will return soon! | |||||||
