I grew up in northern Indiana and Michigan, and consider both areas home. I love David Bowie, so naturally I'm a huge Labyrinth fan. I collect Bowie music and things, Labyrinth items, owls/raptors and dragons. I am also a huge fan of Anne McCaffrey, and Michael Whelan, who is the artist for most of her books. I'm absolutely in love with Kim Harrison's book series, about the bounty-hunter witch, Rachael Morgan, and her vampire and pixy business partners and friends. Seriously! They're like awesome-good crack! Read one and you'll be hooked. Currently I am working full time and also running a business of my own; I'm making and selling my (custom made) plush dragons and owls, jewelry, leather items, and accessories from our website. I am currently working on and posting updates on "Three Sides" (a rewritten version of Labyrinth. It tells the REAL story of what happened in Labyrinth, not just what you were shown in the movie. It's a new and interesting twist on the beloved film), and I'm also working on my brand new story, "Remember," where Jareth has found himself alone in a strange world with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. I will eventually get off my behind and finish "The Red Book," which only has a chapter or two to go. I just posted my first forays into Harry Potter fic: The Withheld Memory (It is a short story, set during the Deathly Hallows II, and is complete), and "he Wand (a short story, set over a span of years, which tells of Snape's wand, and why it is a very crucial piece of his life in his role as double-agent). Lastly, I love and really appreciate reviews. I actually DO make more of an effort to post more frequently if I know people are reading and waiting on me (I hate waiting on my favorite authors to update, *poke poke* at them).
