I'm just another person who's surfing the internet looking for amusing things to take my mind off of reality. I myself don't really write very much pertaining to fanfiction. And most of the stuff I do write that's fanfiction is usually bandslash so I can't really post it, now can I? xD Not that I've ever written very much of it anyway. Nevertheless, I'm an avid beta for my friend who is writing an epic Wuthering Heights/Gone with the Wind in the Inuyasha fandom using OCs. Unfortunately she never seems to put anything down on paper, computer, or otherwise and so I bother her about it. xP
Anyway onto my reading habits: I haven't been a big fanfiction.net person in a good couple of years. You know why? Most of the fics on fanfiction.net is crap. Yes, crap. I realized it after a year of fervent reading. Crap. Sure, I've found some fanfics that remind me time and time again that fanfiction is worth reading, but I seem to find more of it offsite than I do onsite. Reading badly writtenfanfics summon the beast in me and have me spitting and hissing at the end of it. That is why I'm not more adventurous about find good fanfics on fanfiction.net and take more to RPing.
To jump back to the original topic, I'm a teenager that lives in Southern California where a lot of people enjoy outdoor activities. But not I, unfortunately. I am perfectly contented with sitting at home and being on the computer, watching a DVD while clutching my beloved copy of Robert Heinlein's "The Door into Summer" with my left hand while clutching the phone in the other. I'm boring. End of story.
