I am against the idea of teams. But Gale is an awesomer character than Peeta. Peeta should've ended up with Katniss, and I thought that all along, but Gale's awesomer. He does everything for his family, and he's not ruthless, or crazy, or an evil mass murderer. He's a person, no less than Peeta. And Finnick beats them both, because he's amazing. Just saying. And previously, I was Amethyst3232. So take your pick. I've have a crazy load of one-shots scattered about the place. As in, really, there's an insane amount. At the moment I have several longer fics in progress: Brynn's Diary: Rewrite- (Neopets) As you've probably guessed, this is a rewrite of Brynn's Diary. I first started writing BD a long time ago, and my style has improved a lot. Plus, there are way too many annoying plot holes and coincidences. So, I'm re-writing it! This, like the first, tracks the progress of Brynn from her first week in the Guard up to the start of TFR. Falling- (Hunger Games) The sequel to Running, which detailed the 2nd Quarter Quell through the eyes of Maysilee Donner, Falling is the story of the aftermath, in several different POVs. I plan to explore how Haymitch became the drunkard Katniss knows, how Maysilee's sister became bed-ridden with headaches, how everyone who falls in love with each-other does so etc. Haste to Leave the Crime Scene (Hunger Games)- Annie and Finnick's story. It starts with a lot of time jumping, but will even out once I reach Annie's Reaping. This is, for the moment, replacing As Soon As It Stops. Just South (Lord of the Flies)- Two girls survive the plane crash: sweet, cheerful Sally and her best friend, Anna, who is more or less the complete opposite. POVs will alternate between the two of them each chapter. My aim with this fic is to make it as believable as I can whilst still maintaining the story. You'll notice right from the first chapter that there is a reason the girls survive, and I intend to have at least some moderate method to my madness right the way through. The Fun of It- (Les Miserables) In which Gavroche ropes Eponine into helping him prank Marius, and she vows revenge. Filled with sibling rivalry, but also some teamwork, this one's a more light-hearted story. Originally a one-shot, but people seemed to like it and I had ideas for it, so it's been continued. And, this sort of counts, Those Moments Between Us in the neopets archive. It's a collab with Popgum99, Whateva876 and Echos in my head. I've written two chapters so far; the one from Jordie's POV, and the one with the rather stupid budgie. Images disclaimer:I do not own any of the images used as covers for any of my stories, except for those of Brynn's Diary and Brynn's Diary: Rewrite. The others were all found through Google Images, and the majority of them have been tweaked slightly on my part through various picture-editing programmes.
