Author has written 2 stories for Outsiders. Lets see... As Istepped out into the bright sunlight I had two things on my mind... Oh I'm sorry that was the beginning of my favorite novel of all time, "The Outsiders." I remember when I was in grade school or was it fourth grade that the novel was read to us as a class, and then I finally got my first copy. I read it 35 times and the second copy I read 15 times, of course now I am on my 3rd copy and have only read it like 3 times. What can I say except I love Hinton's style of writing, and I could relate to the stories cause even at that age I was an 'outsider.' I later became invovled in my own 'gang' and we patterned ourselves alot after them. Hinton is the one who inspired me to be who I am today and that is a writer with a novel waiting to be published along with the sequel being written when I can. I am also writing my memoirs and several poems and short stories. | |||||||||
