OK; this profile is being written under duress, threat of violence & punishment from my neice (de-anneisapurplemonkey - if you like Charmed you should check out her stories).

Here's a time line for you.

Right, so I was born in Australia in 1962 (you do the math).

I went to 1 primary school and 7 high schools (we travelled).

I joined the Army Reserves in 1979 and the regular Army in 1980. I got out of the army in 1986. I was a Medic, yes - just like in M.A.S.H.

I lost my right leg above the knee, broke my right humerous (no! It wasn't funny) and stuffed the Medial Ligament in my left knee in a Truck Vs Motorcycle accident in Perth in 1988 (Happy Bi-Centenial Year Australia).

I married the awesome Teresa in 1995. Still married to this day. She is my light and my muse.

I became a Born-Again Christian in 1997. Did two years part-time at Bible College. Jesus Rox!

OK, details.

I'm short sighted, colour blind (CP-3), legless (but it only takes half as many drinks to get that way these days - that's a joke, folks!); I've got major depression, major anxiety, mild AADD, mild OCD, mild dyslexia; I'm lactose, gluten and egg intollerent - and now you can add Type II Diabetes to the list; I can be lazy & self centred; I love music (mostly blues, metal, rock, punk, ska, classical but I like most types); I've had 5 motorcycles -2 before I lost my leg and 3 afterwards and yes, I do want another bike; I love Aussie Rules Football (Go Pies!) and cricket; I can cook - and not just bacon and eggs either - I mean really cook; I like good food, dark chocolate, fine wine and imported beer & I love the internet.

Writing.

I've written one original short story (about 10 years ago and it needs alot of work) and started about a dozen others but could never get past the first page. I'm currently trying to write a novel and so far I have written 47,000 words. My neice suggested Fan Fic to get the gears oiled up and working - Dave & the Dragon was my first attempt.

I must admit I do like making up my own stories (http://www.fictionpress.com/read.php?storyid=2165074) & characters more but FF is very cool and I'm really enjoying it. I hope you enjoy reading my stuff but if you come to my stories looking for tales of sexual conquests or slash, don't bother - you wont find any here!

I've written some poetry but it's really mostly personal stuff which will probably never see the light of day.

Ah, what the heck heres some Haiku I wrote when I was having a real downer a few years ago:

HAIKU THERAPY

Even though I try

I cannot hide the things that

make me who I am

Troubled mind on fire

Chemical pictures of fear

Why can't I be free

Tragic images

Heavy stones weigh down my thoughts

What do I do now

Crumbling candles

No light reaches my mind's eye

I stumble and fall

As I see myself

I wonder how God can love

This face reflecting

Is this really Earth

Or is it my private hell

I don't like it here

Jesus saved my life

Did somebody tell my brain

Sinning in secret

What is my meaning

What is my purpose in life

What is my future

It's not great Haiku, but it's what I had in me at the time. And I for those of you who care, this is not how I feel about myself now.

20 July 2006: Haven't been around much lately and I haven't been writing, been a bit crook.

On a sadder note:

I've only just found out that Xian's Suck, the person who has been harassing me and probably every other Christian on FF.Net, has commited suicide.

If it's true then it's terrible and I feel sad at the waste of a young life. I won't be getting too mushy though as she/he was a pain in the rear. Even at the end she/he tried to blame Christians for her/his pending suicide and not only is it a cop-out, it's really sad.

Though I wouldn't be suprised if he/she said they were going to suicide just to see what would happen, and didn't really do it.

People tried to reach out to her/him but she/he kept biting their hands; eventually even Christians run out of cheeks to turn.

Death at any age is sad, but to take your own life; well that's just plain depressing.
