A brief update (12/12/2012):
For some inexplicable reason, every two years or so, I suddenly get the urge to update my bio. To quote my last update, 'Last time I wrote this, I was an innocent, wide-eyed, going-on 23 year old. Now I'm 25 years old and none the wiser.' Now I'm going on 27-freaking-years and instead have probably reverted back in mental age, for one thing, I'm updating my bio when there's so many other things I should be doing/updating.
As for what I've been doing these past...I don't know, 5 years--for all those one people out there that's interested, I've been in the (extremely slooooow) process of completely revising As the Ice Breaks. I started out revising As the Fire Burns, because I'd gotten stuck in an extremely deep rut and the last few chapters have basically been complete shit. The former was my very first ever Beyblade story and my first ever multi-chapter fic and I feel extremely thankful and blessed that it was received as well as it was. When I started that story I never expected that it would actually get more than 600 reviews for a story that is 26 chapters long and I think every single one of the readers and reviewers that cemented my interest in pursuing fanfiction writing.
I'm still and will forever be extremely proud of that story, but between the time I started and finished that story, I'd like to think that my writing has improved a lot and I want to do the story justice by writing it the way that does it justice. I got back to it from time to time to add bits here and there and hopefully one day, preferably in the near future, I will finally finish it.
Stories that have the 'pairings stated in the summary' is (obviously) a story with romance between the two characters (obviously). Stories that have 'Gen-fic' in the summary is one that has no romance whatsoever, stories that have neither is caught in between/I didn't know how to label it at the time and stories that focus on one character is labeled'so and so character-centric'.
That is all.
