Author has written 15 stories for Harry Potter, Anne of Green Gables series, Beauty and the Beast, and Olive's Ocean. This is the shared profile of Elizabeth Walton and Cordelia Lawrence. (Which, if you must know, are not our real names, but pen names) (EDIT 1/28/2013: As of now, Delia has gotten herself a Merlin addiction...so let's see how that goes...) I think our profile picture might be a tad overused...By the way, Lizzie is not a member of the ATLA or LoK fandom...that's all Delia... Also, Delia shamelessly ships Makorra, thought Tahnorra/Tahorra is her guilty pleasure. (I also ship Linzin...I don't care if it's not canon anymore.) :) And no, I do not engage in the multiple shipping wars of the LoK fandom. Lizzie just sticks to Dramione...Ah...good ol' fashioned Dramione... Well...if anybody actually looks at this thing anymore, I'm sorry for the lack of updates (and I had been making such great progress). I haven't been writing a lot lately; instead, I have been drawing. You should check out my deviantart, by the way. It's "http://cordelia-lien.deviantart.com/". I've been stuck on that and tumblr mostly, so here's more adverstisement: "http://cordelia-lien.tumblr.com/". Yeah...and I kind of got involved in the Legend of Korra fandom, and we all know how scary that is...so...I haven't had much time for my Harry Potter fanfics...that, and I've been reading Twilight fanfiction, which is rather funny, since I have read a grand total of zero books from the Twilight "saga." Oh well...if you have any requests, just PM me. I think Lizzie has abandoned us...oh well... --Cordelia (5/19/12 ) General rule of thumb, Cordelia is in normal, Elizabeth is in Bold. Sometimes Cordelia is italicized. These authors enjoy reading Harry Potter and Anne of Green Gables. And the Tudors!!! These authors also enjoy stories based upon the idea: "There is a fine line between love and hate, once crossed, never returned." Gilbert Blythe and Anne Shirley--anybody? (Prime example right here!) Favorite pairings (for Harry Potter); Rose Weasley and Scorpius Malfoy, Lily Evans and James Potter, and Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy, and Narcissa and Lucius. I don't really have favorite pairings for the Tudors... except Henry with Katherine (the second one... Howard) or Jane... blah... they were weak women in a line of strong ones... even Anne of Cleves, she was smart enough to keep her head and the king's affections. Since J.K. Rowling didn't make Hermione and Draco canon, then why not Rose and Scorpius? They are almost exactly the same. Disclaimer (for all the ones I forgot to post in my stories): I own nothing...sadly... seconded... If I did own them, then the last two books of Harry Potter would have been different (Ron and Hermione would not have kissed in the middle of a bloody war where their friends and family are DYING *cough* FRED) . (Or kissed at all :)--Liz)(Romione isn't that bad. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a Scorose) ...nah, i see scorose as a softer version of Dramione--Elizabeth) Also, Walter Blythe would not be dead. Maybe Jem, Shirley, Kenneth Ford, or even Rilla-my-Rilla, but not Walter! I never really liked Bertha Marilla Blythe. Too frivolous, girly, and not ambitious enough for my taste. I liked Nan and Di much better, and the Meredith girls--even that orphan/runaway that Miss Cornelia disapproved of (sorry, I forgot her name, though I think that it's Mary Vance). hehe...Lucius and his pimp cane...ha...Yes, us fanfiction writers do need a life...very badly...I also like Sirius/ serious puns...hehe...Elizabeth can get annoyed by me using them too often though... You think Cordelia? Really now...over usage much? Hehe...we sound like we have split personalities...I pointed that out first and you agreed with me...Lol.. but I posted it first :P...I still pointed that out first, and you agreed...like you agreed on other things...*coughwoodtreescough*...excuse me...do you have a cough drop Lizzie? no to both accounts ms.*ahemliahem* My deviantart account name: Cordelia-Lien (http://cordelia-lien.deviantart.com/) (obviously Cordelia Lawrence's) Favourite Quotes What one generation tolerates, another embraces There is a fine line of hate and love There is no fury like a woman scorned Nancy Astor: If I was your wife, I would poison your tea. Women are like tea bags... you can only tell how strong they are once they are put into water.-Eleanor Roosevelt We waste our childhoods away squandering them, eargerly awaiting its end, only to look back at it with longing and fondness. Time is a great teacher...the only thing is that it kills its pupils. All of my worldly possesions for a moment of time- Queen Elizabeth the First on her death bed I want Hermione Granger... and a rocket ship--Draco Malfoy (A Very Potter Musical) I was weak- Ferb from Phineas and Ferb "There's a story behind every person. There's a reason why they're the way they are. They aren't just like that because they want to. Something in the past created them, and sometimes it's impossible to fix them." - Unknown "We write to live life twice." --Anais Nin "Your actions speak so loudly I can't hear what you say." --Ralph Waldo Emerson "I must now pay for my folly as a crime."--Anne Shirley (L.M. Montgomery) "Children begin by loving their parents; as they grow older they judge them; sometimes they forgive them." --Oscar Wilde Achilles' Heel (One shot by Elizabeth) Just posted!! It's actually an old plot bunny that I felt like finishing today :) (Ahhh...Lizzie...you must work on your grammer--Delia) don't go against me!!! :p Daddy (One shot by Elizabeth) It was a plot bunny who wouldn't quit bothering me!! It's for all those Daddy's Little Girls out there, I know I'm one :) (The relationship between the mother and the daughter is the most difficult...studies show that by the way...--Delia)-- Lol... ikr A Beastly Story (Complete-- Co-written by Elizabeth and Cordelia) It was orignally for a LA assignment over a year ago, do you see the Edgar Allan Poe influences? Tell-Tale Heart and such...It was also influenced by "Anne's House of Dreams." The Relucant Wife (written by Elizabeth Walton) Status: Unfinished (on haitus... i really don't have time for anything other than oneshots :(...) I am looking for a beta-reader so if you want to do that for my story the relucant wife, PM me please... thanks. :D I wrote the Relucant Wife for my friend, Cordelia... at first it involved her and had nothing to do with Harry Potter but I changed it. (you better start updating Lizzie...) There is a Fine Line Between Love and Hate (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Unfinished...and probably abandoned I apologize if I update very slowly...It's just that every time I read what I wrote, I think it's really bad, and I want to change it... Rose's personality it based off of mine, not Rose as a character--Get that straight Elizabeth! Scorpius Malfoy is also based off of NOBODY!!!! (Really Elizabeth, really) Cough Cough... I beg to differ...I mean I agree with you... *extreme sarcasm* At Home in the Island (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Not sure...probably unfinished and abandoned I started this story a long time ago as well...around the time I wrote "The Beauty of Avonlea." I'm sorry that I haven't updated in a long time, but I'm not really sure what to do with it. I have ideas and I have continued, but I started this story so long ago, and I don't like how I continued it... Prong's declaration of Love to his Lily-flower (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Complete I had fun writing this...It was written to tease Elizabeth, and it was originally entitled "Prong's declaration of Love to his graceful Lily-flower"...It was actually an English assignment, but I had fun with it... I disliked the original title...I fixed your spelling of "orginal"...You know you loved that title...*of course... do you see the blant sarcasm?* The Beauty of Avonlea (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Complete I wrote this a long time ago (about a year), and I don't think it's that great, but I just felt like posting it. How the Stag won over the Doe (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Complete but with way too many typographical errors... I wrote this for an English assignment. We were supposed to write a "myth" with "epic conventions." We were reading "The Odyssey" at the time. Well, here's to all eight pages of it. I don't think my teacher actually read the whole thing. She seemed to like it though. Dear Olive, Love Martha (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Complete I wrote this over a year ago, sometime in 2010, for and English assignment. I hope the readers enjoy it, I had fun writing it... The Marriage of Two Lovers (written by Cordelia Lawrence, much to the chagrin of Miss Lizzy Wood) Status: Complete This is rather recent. I wrote it during my Pre-calculus class (something Lizzy no longer has the luxury of dong), Biology class, and Chemistry class. Needless to say, I didn't pay all that much attention in those class periods. Anyway, I have to point out (if my two-paragraph author's note was not enough) that this fanfic was written in retaliation to the Scorose ones where Scorpius leaves Rose for Lily, Dominique, or Roxanne, and Rose is left, heartbroken. This time Rose leaves Scorpius for Lysander, and Scorpius is left hearbroken. The girl is not the depressed one this time. It's a guy. Hey, let's face it, Lizzy and I are feminist to an extent. (I personally, just felt heartbroken myself after reading those depressing Scorose fanfics. But good job to the people that wrote them--they must have been pretty good to make me feel so strongly (or just plain sad) about Rose getting heartbroken. Sorry for my long rant, by the way. Lizzy and I both agree that I am quite wordy at times (more like all the time, but still...). The Giant Squid's Substitute (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: In-progress...and no longer on hiatus I wrote this in Pre-Calculus a few months ago, and decided to finish enough to make one chapter out of it. I know that updates won't be constant, so my apologies...Also, it's what I classify as a Lily and James "summer get-together" story... Second chapter is up...third chapter is in the process of being written (3/10/12) Love Means Nothing to a Tennis Player (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: In-progress...and on the process of getting abandoned... I hope to actually finish this fanfic. I've completed most of the second chapter already, and I hope to be updating in the near future... Granger Danger (written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Complete Another sonnet...my first Dramione fanfic though...so...yeah... Untouchable (Written by Cordelia Lawrence) Status: Incomplete...and...I don't know... My first AU Harry Potter fanfic, I believe. It's a Lily/ James one. It's one of those where Lily hides her true appearance and such--just a warning. Not that anybody would look at my profile, of course. At this rate, I'll only be writing the first chapters of multiple stories...oh well... | |||||
