Author has written 12 stories for NCIS: Los Angeles. If you're reading this: Hello! As you can probably surmise from my slightly geeky screen name, in regular every day life I'm a historian. And being a historian is about studying the past, examining people and explaining people, events and the trends of human behavior. It's one reason I enjoy TV and movies so much, since they are in many ways a similar kind of study, just often told from a fictional perspective. And the relationships between people are what give history (and TV and movies) meaning. Which is another reason I've been addicted to movies since I was in high school and working at Blockbuster. My name is Mel and I'm a long time fanfic reader and writer. Up until recently I'd never posted anything on ff.net as Live Journal was previously my posting location of choice. But that is changing as I've found some great Kensi/Deeks fic from NCIS: Los Angeles here and have enjoyed getting to know other fans and writers in this part of the fandom. I started writing fanfic when I was about thirteen, before I even knew what the definition of it was and over the years I've written for the following shows/movies and pairings: Roswell (Max/Liz, Alex/Isabel, Michael/Maria), Stargate Atlantis (John/Elizabeth), Stargate SG-1 (Jack/Sam), TRON: Legacy (Sam/Quorra), JAG (Harm/Mac), Legend of the Seeker (Richard/Kahlan), Doctor Who (Ten/Rose), Robin Hood (Robin/Marian), NCIS: Los Angeles (Kensi/Deeks). Historically I haven't always been very good at finishing stories, which is why I'm determined to do my best to focus on one story at a time, with the occasionally short diversion to a one shot (or short multi shot).
