Tomorrow when the war began

Yes, I am a huge fan of both the books and the movie that came out last year. I've seen the movie about literally ten times and read the series, plus the Ellie Chronicle's 3 times. I fell in love with them when the movie came out. I watched the movie and then wanted to know what was going to happen next. I tip my hat off for John Marsden and the world he has created. I've started to write my first Tomorrow series fan fiction and its called Back to Normality, which tells you how I think it should have went. Of course there isn't a fourth book, hence the story. I hope to be writing more The Tomorrow series fan fictions soon.

Back to Normality

The Angel of Death

Summary:- A one shot of Chris' death. I feel his character wasn't explored enough, so I wrote what I think was how he died.

The Host

In 2009, who was my best friend, handed me a bood for Christmas. She was obsessed, but at the time I didn't realize the obsession. Just recently I picked up the book again (after finishing all the Harry Potter books I own and Tomorrow when the war began series...again..) and began reading it from where I marked the page. It took a while to remember what happened, but I was soon following. I typed 'The Host' into Facebook and there it was, the release date of the movie. When my friend was obsessed with the book, she found a page and announced they were making a movie and was naturally thrilled. I didn't think much about it at the time, but when I saw the movie was coming out this year, I looked it up and sadly it was in cinemas 29th of March. We only have normal tv so I never saw the ad in the small openings I actually watched tv. I looked it up with the Australian Cinema page (Birch Carrol and Coyle) and found there were only a few screenings, all at 9:10pm at night. My heart sank as I would have to wait until the movie. I couldn't wait that long. So, I rang my Mum, asking her when she was visting and it happened to be the last ever movie screening for the Host in Australia (or at least Queensland). So now, here I am, 5 years later, and will be seeing what they've made out of the movie. Naturally, as they say, the book IS ALWAYS better than the movie, so I'm expecting the worst (still trilled I'm finally seeing the movie) and am hoping it is good.

When I read the book for the first time, I wasn't really fond with the pairing Wanderer(Wanda)/Ian. I was all for Melanie and Jared at first, but when I picked up the book, I began to adore both couples (now more inclined for Wanda and Ian. Unfortuantly there isn't a fandom writing fan fiction on here just yet, but I'm hoping someone may start one. When this happens, I will be writing fan fictions for them, but until then, bye bye.

BBC Robin Hood

Yes, I'm one of those teenagers that likes a good old fashion hero story.

I came across Robin Hood when my mum was watching it on UK TV on Austar. The first character i saw was Much. I loved how they had managed to turn an old tale to make it sound appealing to a younger audience. I love every single character (yes, including Gisbourne and the Sheriff.) I've been watching it for about two years now and I have all three seasons. I have two fan fictions written for Robin Hood and they are both still in progress. These are We are Robin Hood! and Djaq's diary.

We are Robin Hood!

Djaq's Diary

Summary:- When Will feels homesick there's nothing Djaq can do. This is her home in Acre. After the King sends for them they are sent back to Sherwood and to help Robin once more. Some changes made to the story, but nothing major. Set between Cause and Effect and Lost in Translation. Season 3 with Djaq and Will.

Pirates of the Caribbean

I've been a fan of POTC since I can remember. At the age of eight I remember watching the start to Curse of the Black Pearl and getting really scared. Now, I've watched them so much, that they're starting to get scratches on them. I've probably watched all three of them about 50 times now. It never gets old. I only have one POTC fan fic, but there are two one-shots i did. The two one-shots are A Brotherly Friendship and The thoughts of Davvy Jones' Locker. My main POTC fan fic is Love Conquers All.

A Brotherly Friendship

Characters:- Jack and Mr. Gibbs.

Summary:- A one shot of Jack and Mr. Gibb's friendship. This was my first one-shot.

The Thoughts of Davvy Jones' Locker

Characters:- Elizabeth, Will, Mr. Gibbs and Tia Dalma.

Summary:- A one shot of different characters thoughts whilst in Davvy Jones' locker.

Love Conquer's All

Characters:- Elizabeth, Jack, Regetti, Marty and another one, but you'll just have to read and find out.

Summary:- Elizabeth had watched as the love of her life sailed away. She felt more alone than ever and now she must face her greatest challenge yet.

The Tribe

Some of you may know the TV series known as the Tribe. I see it more than a TV show. As my mum pointed out to me, there are two lessions that the Tribe teaches kids and teenagers. Unlike most teenager shows, that tell you not to drink, smoke or take drugs, The Tribe, teaches other things that are often not pointed out. Lession one- there are cults all around the world and some are really dangerous. The cult in the Tribe is of course the Chosen who are considered to be dangerous. These are people that would die for what they beleive in and this isn't alway a good thing. It has taught me how dangerous cults can be. Number two- is that technology is taking over our society. People no longer go outside and run around, instead they're sitting in front of their computers on Facebook or doing other things. I'm not saying that technology is bad, but the Tribe has shown teens with the tribe The Techno's, that is isn't always for the best.

I have three fan fictions for the Tribe. They are Ram's Humble Begginings, We created this World and Where I Belong.

I won't be writting anymore Tribe stories for a while due to lack of interest. As you can see above, I have a lot of other shows that I like more.

Victorious

I know its a bit of a kids show, but the stories I write for them is not. My favourite characters are Jade, Beck and Cat and I am most like Jade with my personality. I have recently written a Jori (Jade and Tori) one-shot purely out of boredom. Its all smut and romance, so if this isn't your cup of tea, I advise you not to read it.

Deadliest Catch

I would like to dedicate this section of my profile to Captain Phil Harris, who sadly died at the age of 53. (December 19, 1956-February 9, 2010). Let me tell you a little about the Captain. His father was a crab fisherman out on the Bearing Sea and at the age of 17, Phil joined up for the cost of nothing to go out for a trip. Eight years later, he became one of the youngest captains in the fleet. Since then he got married and had two boys- Jake and Josh, who he often refered to as Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb. They grew up without the presence of their father as eight months out of the year, he was out on the water. This was the life of a crab fisherman.

The injury rate out there is 100% and if something goes wrong, your as good as dead. Much later in life Phil got his own boat built and named in Cornelia Marie, which happens to be someones real name. Due to this, she owns half the boat and the boys now own the other half. Once they were old enough, the boys joined their father on his boat. It took Josh a little longer because an accident pushed him away, but soon after he was with his brother and his dad.

Phil had a close shave with death when a blood clot passed through his leg and up through his chest. This wasn't the only close shave he had. A while back, Phil broke his back and had a 95% chance of never walking again, but despite the odds, he pulled through and continued on with crab fishing.

Whilst offloading in 2010, Phil suffered a stroke in his room. Not long after he was found by Steve Ward who called him up, but he didn't get an answer. He was flown to Anchorage, Alaska, while the boat and the crew minus the boys sat at dock. After his death it was discovered that smoking had caused the stroke and the boys have been trying to quite smoking ever since.

Phil was making steady progress and was on his way to a full recovery. Jake left his fathers side to go to rehab for a drug addiction and the last words exchanged between them was Phil telling him that he's real proud of his for going to rehab, which was what he promised not long before. Before leaving, however, the two boys had a fight in a hotel room and their good mate Johnathan Hillstrand was standing outside. Said by John "It just breaks my heart man" and he too left the hotel. Josh later left the room in a huff and was told that he was the one that had to look after their father.

The last words said between Josh and Phil were about the weather outside. Josh replied "it was sprinkling a little bit" when asked if it was snowing outside. Phil asked for his lucky necklace and Josh was driving back to the hotel room, when he got the worst phone call of his life.

Josh was told to get to the hospital now because Phil had yet another event and was fighting for his life. Later, the doctor came in and told them "there's only so long you can take it" and another friend of Phil's said "he will never back down from a fight. Never has, never will".

Phil later passed away and it took a while for Josh to call the boat and let them know about the situation. Being like a family, they took it hard. Freddie Maugatai lost his father while out crab fishing on the Cornelia and from then on, Phil was always like a father to him. Together, the crew pulled through to go out and finish what Phil started. The four of them, plus a friend of Phil's as Captain, went out and finished the trip.

Each boat close to the Cornelia, did their bit to honnor Phil. The Wizard, although never close to them, dropped a pot full of crab and with a bouy reading 'If you find this pot, it's in loving memory of Captain Phil Harris, 1956-2010.' The Time Bandit set off fire crackers in their usual fashion and each crew on the Northwestern threw a flaming hook over the side for the last pot of the season.

Each year, Phil will be remembered for the man he was. He swore like crazy, smoked like a train and drank like there was no tomorrow, but I tell you what, he was as caring and honest as they came. Everyone looked up to Phil, including me, and let his two boys carry on his legacy...
