Author has written 5 stories for City Homicide.

I live in Western Australia and am in my late 30s with two young children, and also work part-time.

When I was younger, I was going to do something with my life that involved writing or drama or both, but alas, I chose a path that was seen as more responsible, so now I work in a responsible job that causes me no end of stress!

I haven't written fiction for so many years, I was nervous about starting again, didn't think that I would be able to get the creative juices flowing again! I have only discovered Fanfic this year, and love reading people's stories. The beauty of it, for me, is that the characters and the base for the stories are already there, I can just let my imagination run wild!

My fave shows are City Homicide (I was devastated when it ended, and couldn't understand why they would take a quality program off air yet keep on mindless rubbish such as H&A, Winners & Losers etc). I loved the Jen/Nick pairing, and was disappointed that we never really got to see this develop on the show. I also love Grey's Anatomy (but have never been a Derek and Meredith fan, I find Meredith way too annoying), Tru Blood and Criminal Minds. I used to love Blue Heelers and All Saints, and my all time favourite used to be Police Rescue, with my fave couple being Micky and Georgia. I also have to admit that I'm a bit of a reality TV show junkie, and also love crime documentaries.

I love watching movies, especially Australian movies, and some of my faves are Picnic at Hanging Rock, Muriel's Wedding, Lantana, Sampson and Delilah, Razzle Dazzle, The Castle, The Fringe Dwellers and so many more that I just cannot mention them all! I don't get a lot of time to watch movies though, which is disappointing.

I also love reading, but never get enough time to do so. I love The Red Tent, Water for Elephants, A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Kite Runner, The Slap and so many more. I have run out of room in my bookcase, but can't bear to part with any of them!

I am enjoying writing again, I find that it overtakes me completely and I neglect everything else around me when I am in writing mode. I do find it difficult to clear my mind between stories, and it takes me a while to 'cleanse the palate' and be able to start again. Once I get the inspiration to write a story, I find that I cannot stop!

Just to update you on my fic, Second Time Lucky. I haven't finished it yet, but have not had any time at all to update. Please don't give up on it - I promise that it IS coming, and hopefully I will be able to post the next update (possibly the final one) sometime during the next week. I have been very busy and have just had no time to do any writing. :)

The final chapter to Second Time Lucky will be up soon - I promise! I haven't given up, it is nearly done :)
