A Bit About Myself

I write stories mostly about anime/manga. Some of the anime/manga that I like are­ Rurouni Kenshin, Aishiteruze Baby, Gundam Wing, Gundam Seed, Gundam Seed Destiny, Code Geass, Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight (and Guilty), Imadoki!, More Starlight in Your Heart, Naruto (and Shippuden), Princess Tutu, Detective Conan, Jigoku Shoujo, Yami no Matsuei, Kyou Kara Maou!, Escaflowne, Gakuen Alice, Ayatsuri Sakon, Death Note, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni (and Kai), Ultimate Muscle, Ouran High School Host Club, Ghost Hunt, Yuu Yuu Hakusho, Trigun, Dragon Ball Z, Scrapped Princess, Hikaru no Go, D. N. Angel, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Digimon (first season;­ second season was all right, but after that it went downhill in my opinion). I'm looking into Evangelion. I also love Avatar, most of Miyazaki's movies, Paprika, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and Grave of the Fireflies, too. Currently, I am now watching Jigoku Shoujo.

I enjoy playing video games on my PS2, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, Atari, and Nintendo Game Cube even though I barely have time to write, let alone play games. I'm a huge Final Fantasy, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Harvest Moon, and Castlevania fan. DDR rocks, too (long live heavy mode).

I actually have a life outside the digital world. When I'm not on the internet, watching anime, reading manga, or studying to get both my TESOL and Linguistics degrees, I'm teaching martial arts, learning Japanese, working at an oh-so-fun supermarket to get through college, playing the piano, reading classical literature, and watching musicals and professional baseball. My goal is to eventually teach English in Japan. We'll see how that goes after spring semester; a summer internship is looming over the horizon...

My favorite book is Les Miserables, which is why I love the musical so much. I went to a Les Mis concert a while back. It was very well done, and worth the money. I am also a big Lord of the Rings fan, and yes, I read the books before seeing the movies (which were very well done, in my humble opinion). And, of course, Star Wars rocks, too.

Current Video Game Addiction: I finally got my hands on "Castlevania Symphony of the Night." It is one of my most favorite games that I've played as of yet! I finally got one of my friends to let me borrow it, and have just beaten it with 200.3 percent. Saw all four endings, too. What a wonderful game! The graphics are beautiful, the plot is interesting, and the music is amazing (I've downloaded many of the tracks onto my MP3). Anyway, if you enjoy Castlevania, this is a must-play game. No wonder it's one of the rarest games for the PS.

I am almost finished with "Tales of Genji" for the PS2. The graphics are outstanding (I spent a few minutes just standing and looking at the background scenery), and the plot, of course, was very well done. I love being the main character Yoshitsune (his voice reminds me of Van's Japanese voice for some obscure reason), but Benkei...well...he runs so insanely slow. Strong he may be, I'd rather spend a few extra strikes using Yoshitsune than bumbling around as Benkei. I was so close to beating it in one day...so close. Currently I am on the final boss. I haven't been practicing much with my Amahagane, so I don't really understand how to use it to its full potential. This final battle is apparently all about using the Amahagane, so I'm somewhat--err--stuck.

I wish I had...

More time. Searching for it, I journey to the farplanes of the earth and back and all I lost is...more time. I am extremely slow on updates, as all my readers can probably tell. Your patience is much appreciated.

And a little about my posted/upcoming stories

"Serendipity" is up. It's my first try at Gundam Wing fanfiction. It's a Heero/Duo Friendship fic (nope, no romance involved). I am really enjoying writing this fic, however, and am definitely going to continue working on it. I have a rough sketch of chapter 12 done; it should be up soon.

"The Things I Do for You" - My first Kenshin story. Please check it out. I'll try to get around to updating. I just finished editing the entire thing, because it was filled with grammatical errors (I haven't looked at it in almost a year). Chapter 10 is finally up after a year!

"Kaiba's Cat" is back up with a more solid plot. A big 'thank you' to the ones who were patient. Chapter two is up. Chapter three will be up whenever I can find the notes to all the following chapters. Yes, I've lost them.

Obviously, I am not a perfect writer. My earlier Yu-Gi-Oh! stories were written when I was much younger and are therefore not beta read (hence they are not very good in my opinion). I would say that my Gundam Wing story, my Kenshin stories, and Kaiba's Cat are worth checking out.

Lastly, the fanfic people changed my nick to "Lynn10" because a lot of people took the name "Lynn." I would ask that you still call me by my original name.
