To those who read this:

Yes I am alive and yes, I am still writing. Just not posting anything.

I'd like to believe my writing has matured over the years and after looking over Troubled Lily, I went into drastic rewriting/editing mode. I had decided that I wasn't going to post anything for Troubled Lily until I had finished it- both editing and new chapters(which is why it has been taking so long to update). This plan started off well until I learned I needed to write three short stories for a course by April (which I recently submitted). Those three short stories inspired me with new ideas for other fanfiction stories and since then, I've been paying more attention to those while the ideas were still fresh.

I realize it is unfair to those readers still following the story that I have been neglecting TL. When starting TL I never expected it to extend throughout so many years, and I am wishing I had thought of completing the story before posting it, which is what I'm doing with these new stories. All I can do is apologize and thank you for your patience...whether you accept this or not is your decision.

The story is still being written, just very slowly. I know that I said there aren't many chapters left and yet it's still taking me a long time and I can't give any explanation other than I've been otherwise occupied in the past couple years. I know where I want things to go...I know how I want it to end. I just don't know when I will put in the time to actually finish it. However, this summer I will be traveling to visit family and to relax (note- neither working nor attending school) so I hope I will have time then to finally...FINALLY... finish Troubled Lily. But I will not make promises- just that it will be finished! ...Eventually...
