You have to have a target you respect, one that's big enough to stand up too parody." -Mel Brooks This quote from comical genius Mel Brooks perfictaly illistrates my philosiphy on humor, which I often place in my fan fiction. I am a sophmore in high school, and a serious writer. Why then, do I write stupid fan fiction? There are two reasons. The first is that I love comedy and stupidity. I am a huge fan of Mel Brooks and Monty Python. I laugh so hard every time I watch one of their movies , even if it is the 700th time I've seen it. The second reason is that, dispite my love for stupidity, my books are serious. While they may have their moments of humor, I do not want them to be plagued by it. Things I like: Rock and Roll (Led Zeppelin is my favorite band), Lord of the Rings, Johnny Depp, M*A*S*H, Stephen King, Mel Brooks, Monty Python,and a bizillion other things. I may write a lot of crap, but I occasionaly write a serious story and post it on this site. Please read the stories by my friends: ringspell; Eleena Thea; Paige Woods; blah gurl; Olivia Frost/Angelic Ashley Flame me if you want. I don't care. Make them as snoby as you wish.
