Hey! I'm TIA. [Look up and read my pen name again. Yeah, this is the acronym of that. ;)]

My pen name is a very apt epithet, but I've begun to think it's too puerile. I'm sticking with it because the one thing I'm bad at imagining is usernames of all kinds, (*sigh* Which is why I came up with this name in the first place!) and though I don't like the full name, I love the acronym it forms. So, call me Tia and you'll have my endless gratitude. :D

I'm a student, which means my age is anywhere between four and ninety. [Know any centenarians at school? ;) ] This means that fanfiction happens only when assignments, exams and projects get off my back. Yes,it is frustrating, but that's real life for you.

My stories (Inspirations and status)

Obliviously Yours : A series of vignettes set in Anne of the Island. It's based on the quote "You don't spend THAT much time thinking about someone you don't love", and it's complete. [Despite appearances to the contrary. So it's no use adding it to your Story Alerts. I don't think I could add to this story any more than what I've done. ]

I Want To Know : Why...? Because Davy and Dora deserve a story of their own, don't you think? ;) It's complete.

Dear Heart : A story in epistolary form - letters between Anne and Gilbert set in Anne of Windy Poplars. It's complete, as of now, but I may add in letters if inspiration strikes.

As I Love,Loved Am I : A visit to an old university campus one sunny afternoon in March, a Twitter conversation with Vee22 and a speculation on what Anne would've name the place I found, led to this fic.

Exquisite Felicity : Based on Jane Austen's Persuasion, this story describes how Anne and Frederick fell in love, the first time. This story is featured on the Jane Austen Fan Fiction index. It's complete.

The Tarkheena and The Prince : Like all other Narnia fanatics, I've always been intrigued by that single sentence which Lewis left us with in The Horse and His Boy, hinting at the love story which is to bind Aravis and Cor. This fic elaborates on that. This story is included in the community The Real Treasure. It's complete.

An Adventure In Tomorrow: I really don't know what sparked the idea for this story - I wanted to write a fanfic with little ELizabeth in it(she's adorable!), and -- I sing, so I wanted to have at least one story where I could describe music the way I live it(Describing music with mere words is SO difficult - I salute all those who've done it convincingly in the past!) Also, I'd read up a little on the history of Canada and slavery, and put in Thomas just to clear up that there WAS no slavery in Anne's time(NO racism is intended!) and if you've read Enid Blyton's The Children of Willow Farm series, you'll realise that I've based Thomas' unique bond with animals on that of Tammylan's. :)

Past Summer's Prime : The idea of this fic was born because I was really very touched by Katherine's history, and wanted her to have a happier ending than what L.M.M left us with. Also, canadaroks requested a fic based on the quote "It is a curious thought, but it is only after you see people looking ridiculous that you realize how much you love them.", and eventually, a chapter in this story is going to be based on it. However, it's currently being updated very, very slowly, as I haven't read the Anne series in over a year, and am losing out on the style.I'll NOT discontinue it, but it'll take time.

Foundation For Wedded Love : A story on how Edmund Bertram falls in love with Fanny Price in Jane Austen's Mansfield Park. It's in lieu with whatever we know through the story(mainly written because I feel like what Austen tells us about Edmund's love for Fanny is so insufficient, esp. after we read Fanny suffering throughout the book!) This story is featured on the Jane Austen Fan Fiction index. It's in progress.

Water Sprite:A Retelling of The Little Mermaid : Inspired by the stories written by Cameron Dokey in the Once Upon a Time series. It's in progress.

All my other fanfics are complete, so it's no use Following them.

What I write about :

I love fanfics which remain true to the story (though I do like what-ifs, if they're in character and style). I basically try to write the same way, and my stories will be about filling the gaps left in my favourite books - not because they aren't perfect as they are, but 'coz I can't help wanting to read more of the same. I don't see myself writing any AU fics - there's plenty of work that can be done on the fictional universes I love, as they are.

L.M Montgomery's series of books on Anne Shirley's life are some of my eternal favourites, and Anne herself is something of a much-adored idol. I haven't read the books beyond Anne of Ingleside.. um,..because there isn't much of Anne's thoughts in them. I'll get to reading them some time, but for now, I'm content with writing one-shots on events that L.M.M has left to our imaginations.

Jane Austen's writing has spawned a lot of fanfiction over the years, and I've read so many superior representations of Pride and Prejudice, in particular, that I don't think I could ever add to it all, to my own satisfaction. The other novels still have 'scope for improvement', however, so I'll probably be posting on those. ;)

Who doesn't love Narnia? Aslan and the stories that circulate around his worlds have always fascinated me, but it was only recently that I even considered the possibility of writing fanfiction for this series. Future fanfics are subject to my moods and inspirations, or reader requests. ;) :P

A year back, I discovered Simon Pulse's Once Upon A Time series, which are retellings of fairy tales. I've been enchanted by all the books, but especially by the writing of Cameron Dokey, and have been inspired into writing my own retellings of some those old childhood tales. Will put up those which I feel I'll be motivated enough to finish. :P

Authors I revere :Jane Austen, Georgette Heyer, L.M Montgomery,Louisa May Alcott, Charles Dickens,C.S Lewis, J.R.R Tolkein, Enid Blyton, Ayn Rand, O.Henry, Baroness Emmuska Orczy, Agatha Christie, J.K Rowling, Meg Cabot, Rick Riordan, Eoin Colfer, Cameron Dokey. There are many, many more, but I think I'll stop before I run out of space. ;P
Feel free to message me if you're interested in plot discussions and character dissections of any of their books! :)

To all those of you who've read, reviewed, favorited and enjoyed my fanfics : your words and encouragement keep me motivated, and inspire me into writing more - a BIG hug and thank you! :)

To all my guest reviewers : I can't reply to your reviews if you've posted a long time after my story's been published, but the same gratitude goes out to you! :)
