Favorite Video Game Hero: Link from The Legend of Zelda Where'd I Get My Pen Name: I chose the name Deadly Chakram many years ago when I entered the realm of the online Xena fandom. I wanted to choose a name that encompassed or symbolized the show as a whole, and the best thing I could think of was Xena's most trusted weapon, the chakram. Deadly was just an appropriate description of the weapon that happened to make a nice "handle." I've been Deadly Chakram ever since. A Little About Me And My Writing: I tend to be more of a drama/angst, action, adventure writer than anything else. Comedy and romance are much harder for me to write, though I do feel like I've steadily been getting better at them, particularly the romance part. In any case, that's why most of my stories have a darker edge to them. I adore writing that stuff and I'll admit, it's rather thrilling for me to come up with stories where I get to put the characters to the test, be it mentally or physically. These are also the types of stories that I am drawn to reading. I also very much enjoy a challenge when I write, which is why I have a handful of first person point of view stories that I have written, which tend to be from a male point of view. That's because it is a challenge to write for characters that are so different from me, which is essentially a random fan girl. That said, it follows that I should tell you a bit about my muse. Every writer has one. Mine likes to sit on my right shoulder at all times and only rarely takes a leave of absence. Most of the time, she sits there with a large sword that she uses to poke me in the brain, until I finally write the latest story that has surfaced in my mind. And trust me, when she gets stirred up, she can produce a ton of rabid plot bunnies. I sincerely hope you are enjoying my stories and please remember: Creative muses cannot live on writing alone.
