My name is Mike. I'm a seventeen-year-old guy from Virginia, USA, who plays baseball, writes, reads and likes boogieboarding. I went to the beach what... four or five times? For someone who's been to the beach once before in his life, that's pretty sweet.

My personality? I come across as overly-hyper (although I'm progressively mellowing) but I promise I'm perfectly safe. Got all my shots and everything. My appearance is (slowly-growing) longish dark-blonde hair, blue eyes, I'm 6'0 and about 165. Below average weight, I guess, but it really helps when I wear baggy clothing. My clothing has been mainly black, but that's changing as I learn that it IS true that black absorbs heat.

I am a born-again Christian and had the fortune to go to a Christian camp, M-fuge, early this summer, then two weeks later our church youth group went on a mission trip up around the Norfolk area. I'm proud of my relationship with God and if anyone would like to know more about it, feel free to IM me, email me, or say whatever in a review.

I do not believe in magic in any shape, way or form--although I must say I'm rather taken with the concept of a secret magical world. I do believe that the God of the Bible can cause miraculous happenings, but that's as close to magic as anything in the universe--and considering God doesn't need an external source of power to control His Creation, that rules out magic. Just a little clarification on that point. :)

Dark Intentions
This is the first story in a series of three. Severus Snape's father kills his wife, and Severus kills him in an act of revenge. He then flees after torching their manor. A kindly potions expert takes him in and adopts him, and he begins a new life. They are attacked by Death Eaters and they escape with their lives (and a large hole in the back wall of the potions store in which they live) and Severus begins to work on getting over an addiction to the Dark Arts which he had developed. It's sorta a biography of his early life. Chapter four coming soon, and he meets some familiar characters...
