American who's graduated from a UK uni and read ONLY the UK versions of HP. Just venting some stories that pop up, routinely. Sorry that 'The Final Conflict" was abandoned. I had fried my laptop losing everything, had no outline (it was only in my head) and was trying to write a Uni thesis...in the end all was lost. Sorry.

The other stories were written so long ago that when I recently received a review, I didn't remember the story at all! Even rereading it didn't help! lmao Finally it hit me that it'd been a TFC challenge.

I have learned from past mistakes and have outlined my next story. It'll be new and one with many many chapters...when I get the chance to finally write it. I think that if I just get the software where I talk and it writes, I may get the thing done at some point while we all live. I've also been toying with the idea of a sequel to Mistress Mia's. Lemme know what you think about that. It will be HP/DM with more HG/SS. My beta's not thrilled at all as she's not a slash fan but it's my story.

Anyway, I'm now the American teaching English in China (not far south of Beijing). Love it here and am learning Chinese. Going on my second year here now but am busier than ever, taking on more classes than mandated, learning Chinese and preparing for more education myself to make me a better teacher. And of course traveling. Already been to Cheng Du to hold the pandas. Will do Beijing for the Great Wall and Xi'an for the Terra Cotta Soldiers in a few weeks then KunMing for their National Holiday in October. Busy me...maybe I'll try to bring my notebook with me to KunMing for more writing...although all I managed to do in Cheng Du was to flesh out the character outlines more. At least I know that the places I write about will be realistic as I've already lived them all.

Desperately looking for a new, short, quick challenge or a new twist on an old challenge. I need something to spur me to return to writing instead of reading addicitvely. I'll write hpdm, rwll, hgrw (if I have to), hgss, nev/gin, gin/sev (if I have to), sbrl, rlss, sbss, lmss, nmss and if I'm seriously tempted I could be pushed to write a blss. The challenges I already adore are magical creature Harry or Draco, marriage law, adoption, soulmates, and the occassional bubblebath. Please send me a new one!!
