Author has written 2 stories for Sweeney Todd, and Sleepy Hollow.

Hey people! My name's Maria and I pretty much have no idea what I'm supposed to write here. Thus, I'll ramble a little about things you probably don't care about.

So, I'm currently a high school student - a senior to be more precise - aiming to study English. (My big love). Or at least I hope so. It's kind of a critical year...

Yes, optimism. It's always been a trait of mine.

Anyway, the truth about me is that I'm a huge bookworm. And a proud one! I'll pracitcally read anything that ends up in my hands from romance novels (oh the sappiness) to cooking recipes.

I'm fairly new to the site and that's because I've only recently gotten into writing. I've been reading fanfiction for quite some time though, but being the good lurker that I am, I didn't bother to create an account. Now, something I noticed (and I don't really know if it's good or bad) is the fact that I can only concentrate on one thing at a time which means that I'll probably complete a story before I start writing a new one. Yup, not much of a multitasker, either. I'm currently working on a Sleepy Hollow fic, which I hope I'll manage to finish, but given my tight schedule that'll probably take a while.

And that's about it! I might update again at some point, if I'm not in a haste. Or just bored. Either way, feel free to PM me about anything you want to ask! Ookay, I'm ending this here.

Villainy wears many masks, none of which so dangerous as virtue... - Ichabod Crane (Sleepy Hollow)

There's a diffrence between a failure and a fiasco. A failure is merely the absence of success. Any fool can achieve failure. But a fiasco, a fiasco is a disaster of epic propotions. A fiasco is a folk tale told to other's to make other people feel more alive because it didn't happen to them. - Drew Baylor (Elizabethtown)

Courage is a hard thing to figure. You can have courage based on a dumb idea or mistake, but you're not supposed to question adults, or your coach or your teacher, because they make the rules. Maybe they know best, but maybe they don't. It all depends on who you are, where you come from. Didn't at least one of the six hundred guys think about giving up, and joining with the other side? I mean, valley of death that's pretty salty stuff. That's why courage is tricky. Should you always do what others tell you to do? Sometimes you might not even know why you're doing something. I mean any fool can have courage. But honor, that's the real reason for you either do something or you don't. It's who you are and maybe who you want to be. If you die trying for something important, then you have both honor and courage, and that's pretty good. I think that's what the writer was saying, that you should hope for courage and try for honor. And maybe even pray that the people telling you what to do have some, too. - Michael Oher (The Blind Side)

All right, look if you absolutely have to tell her the truth, at least wait until the timing's right. And that's what deathbeds are for. - Chandler (Friends)

I'm not so good with advice... Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment? - Chandler (Friends)

There are few things sadder in this life than watching someone walk away after they've left you, watching the distance between your bodies expand until there's nothing... but empty space and silence. - Jane (Someone like you)

Trust me. Everybody is less mysterious than they think they are. - Claire Colburn (Elizabethttown)

Our knowledge has made us cynical; our cleverness, hard and unkind. We think too much and feel too little. - Adenoid Hynkel (The Great Dictator)

You'll meet a lot of jerks in life. If they hurt you, remember it's because they're stupid. Don't react to their cruelty. There's nothing worse than bitterness and revenge. Keep your dignity and be true to yourself. - Marjane's Grandmother (Persepolis)

We accept the reality of the world with which we are presented - Christof (The Truman Show)
