UPDATE: Just letting you guys know I'm still alive. I graduated in March, so I officially got my Bachelor's degree. However, I've been unable to write Unravel or my other works due to writer's block, preparing to study for Masters, and the hope of finding work. I'm sorry if I haven't been able to update for so long.

And I'm also letting you know I haven't given up on Unravel or anything else yet (Unravel especially since I know many of you have been keeping an eye on it). Actually, I haven't been able to tell you guys, but it's recent that my DGM OC Rue got stolen (long story...). I'll explain this when I have time. Perhaps, this is also why I've been holding back from Unravel too, so my inspiration has been a little lost lately. Right now, writer's block is holding me back since I'm not quite sure how to move Unravel forward anymore (though the idea is still building up in my mind). That and I've been restraining myself on rewriting it since I have to finish writing it first, right?

Anyway, I'm just leaving this here, so you know of my well being and whereabouts.

Since it's been so long writing fanfiction after having disappeared, let me reintroduce myself.

-My name is Hitomi, which is my usual alias, though I go by other names too such as Blue (or Bluey) and Alice. No, I'm not telling you my real name as that's reserved for people who really know me. My nicknames in real life are Kris, Krissy, and Krispy, so draw your own conclusions on what my real name is. XD And then, there's the other nicknames that relate to either certain characteristics I have (notably my stinginess, temper, and boyish ways) or my height (let's not get into that either).
-My birthday is June 17th. No, I'm not telling you how old I am either.
-The only clue you'll have on my age is that I'm a college student.
-I am a Filipino-American.
-I was born and raised in New York, but I am currently in the Philippines because of attending college here.
-I have hobbies and interests such as writing, drawing, reading, video games, hanging out with friends, listening to music, and going on the computer.
-I don't like plagiarism, PDA/Public Displays of Affection (as in to the point you're about to have sex in public), hypocrisy (unless you're joking about it), people who assume/jump to conclusions, thunderstorms, harsh critique/flames, flamers/bashers, discouragement, most vegetables, and Math.
-When it comes to writing, all mistakes aside, there are two things that piss me off the most and that would be Mary Sues/Gary Stus as well as romance without a plot.

As you can see, I've been on fanfiction.net for a long time, even though it may not look like it due to lack of fics on my pages (I deleted my old fics from long ago). Though, I've recently started to write fanfiction again after the writer's block has been driving me crazy. So, for those who have the courage to flame me for whatever reason (usually because of me offering constructive criticism in my reviews), don't act butthurt when I say my feelings honestly. Although I am still learning how to write (I don't claim to be perfect in my writing), I've been writing for a long time, so I already know what I'm talking about when it comes to pointing out writing flaws. Don't want my advice? Suit yourself, but there are people who can be quite harsh in their reviews than myself.

This is the section for Irony I just wanted to make this since it is an in progress fic like Unravel, so I consider it as a priority to work on. And since there are some OCs in there that have appeared in the story, I will put them here.

Hitomi AKA Lenore - The runaway princess from an arranged marriage and a tactician with a enigmatic past of sorts. Is shown to be calm and indifferent when it comes to tactics; however, her true personality will come out when she's around certain people, even though that's not her intention. She specializes in swordplay and under the guidance of a certain character, so she's a Myrmidon.

Keiya AKA Cythras/Chancellor of Badon - He's the person Hitomi's running away from because he is her fiance in their arranged marriage. He has a "cool" facade but, most of the time, he acts like an airheaded fool because of his tendencies to skirt chase women. Don't let him fool you with that, though, as he is competent when it comes to tactics and combat. He's a Mage.

Rose - Bodyguard of the missing princess, Hitomi. She's a calm, serious person who works hard in her duties (although she's soft towards the princess, be it when she is on or off duty). When outside her duties, she tends to be more relaxed and is a considerately open person. Her fighting class is Halberdier as she specializes in lances.

Hikaru AKA soon-to-be Marquess *censored* - Hitomi's twin brother, who will be the one to inherit the throne. The eye and hair color are all the twins have in order of being alike for their personalities are opposites in every way. In spite of this, Hikaru is fond towards his sister and would do anything to ensure her safety and happiness (even if it means keeping the wary suitors at bay, fiance most especially included). He's an Assassin.

Sure, everyone's tempted to call out on Sue as soon as they spot an original character in a fanfic of a certain fandom with whatever accusations there are (beautiful looks, sad past, etc.). But someone from Twilightsucks . com has this nice, little quote that states on what a Sue really is (in their opinion, at least) and why I agree with it:

"A Sue is a character that is the author's darling, that always gets their way, never gets hurt no matter what happens, has awesome powers nobody else has, gets the main role of the story and succeeds with no effort in whatever it is they're doing. Get it in your heads."
