NEWS: 'm back, but I can't be nearly as active here as I hoped as I'm still looking for a job and an agent. (The nibble didn't pan out). So... Announcements!

One World returns to a regular release schedule starting May 6th!

Sword and Shield returns to a regular release schedule starting May 13th! With the start of Volume #2: A Family Visit.

STAR WARS: Infinite Rebellion returns to a regular release schedule starting May 20th!

The Fourth Week of each month is reserved exclusively for my original fiction... so no releases then. Thank you.

NEWS: I have unified much of my online presence and created a 'nexus' site of sorts. If you want to know what I do beyond fanfiction, check out: http://starrynightworks.blogspot.com/

Who am I? Well I'm a 27 year old white male stuck in a rather boring part of the United States. I've recently completed the Writing Popular Fiction program at Seton Hill University with an MFA in Creative Writing. I've been published in EON Magazine and hope to sell my original series: A Fox's Tale. I have more projects than time.

To me fanfiction is basically a writing exercise, I don't really take it that seriously and no one who reads my fanfiction really should... it is fanfiction, nothing more nor less. I use it as an exercise to hone and practice my craft during dry spells, I have not offered my real name as some publishers are extremely adverse to their authors releasing fanfiction and you should be aware that if I am sold I will be more than willing to take down my account here if they request it.

Thank you for your time, and clear skies.

1st Monday of the Month: "One World"

Original Works:

American Kitsune - A YA/Urban Fantasy series revolving around Katherine Kota or "Kit Kat", a Kitsune Spiritkin, and her two friends: a Technomancer known as "Sparkplug", and the Necromancer Annabell Lee Higgins. As powerful magical beings, their trained in secret by the American Department of Paranormal Studies, but that doesn't make them safe... not in the least. Magical America has plenty of enemies willing to fight a war in the shadows.

American Kitsune: National Treasures *In Planning* - They call her “Kit Kat,” and she’s the most powerful magical creature in the Western Hemisphere. The Dragons of the East want to kill her, and she has to rely on her two best friends: the Technomancer and Necromancer to keep her alive. She is the American Kitsune. Rated T for violence, language, and sexual themes.

The Ambrose Chronicles - A YA/Science Fiction series revolving around the character of Miles Ambrose and Astra Tanaka as they go from 13 year old midshipman to line officers in the navy of the United Stellar Empires. Inspired in part by Forester's Horatio Hornblower novels, several historical wars, and the technological revolution in naval warfare in the late 19th Century.

Ambrose Chronicles Novels - The novels themselves are designed to be very similar in construction to the Horatio Hornblower stories, some of the short stories may be inserted as chapters in the novels.

Lord Leveson's War - *In Drafting* - 2073.01.17 AY Midshipman Miles Ambrose is assigned to the Peregrine-class Gunboat UES Swift Fox a small ship with a crew of 20 (3 officers, 2 midshipmen, 15 enlisted). War is brewing between the United Stellar Empires and Grande Impérial République of C’hall. A sixteen year old apprentice officer, Miles is thrown into the center of the brewing war and forms an impromptu partnership with his fellow Midshipman Astra Tanaka. Can he survive his first cruise on a boat older than he is? Rated T for violence, language, close quarters living, and graphic depictions of space combat.

Ambrose Chronicles Short Stories - Independent and stand alone short stories set in the Miles Ambrose universe and meant for publication in magazines, at least that's the plan.

An Average Engagement - *COMPLETE - Awaiting Publication* - 2074 AY, the UES Swift Fox is engaged by the IRS Dubleix while on routine patrol. The small skirmish provides an insight into the very nature of ship to ship combat in space. Things are not as most people believe they would appear. 5,500 words. Rated T for violence, language, close quarters living, and graphic depictions of space combat.

Energy Raid - *COMPLETE - Awaiting Publication* - 2074 AY, the UES Swift Fox is running low on fuel. Faced with completing a patrol on minimal energy reserves, the crew decides to take a gamble and launch a raid on an IRC harbor in a nearby system. 10,700 words. Rated T for violence, language, close quarters living, and graphic depictions of space combat.

Iron Storm – *In Planning* - The assassination of the President-elect Ronald Reagan in January of 1980 leaves the United States confused and impotent as the Soviet Union launches an invasion in Western Europe. By June, the whole of the United States military is deployed to Europe leaving no reserves as the Soviets invade the West Coast. Follow three resistance fighters and a soviet defector as they struggle against the Soviet Steamroller. Rated M for sex, violence, graphic depictions of warfare, and language.

Jenny’s Ship – *In Planning* - At a remote xenoarchaeological dig site run as a family business, a starship is found. When Jenny Jonsson, the head archaeologist’s daughter triggers a dormant piece of machinery it bonds to her. Now the teen is the key to the alien ship which Interstellar Defense Industries will do anything to study. Rated T for violence, language, and angst.

John Hawthorne Novel Series - An adult Urban Fantasy series, focusing on John Hawthorne, an FBI agent turned occult investigator and detective. Features a wide range of different stories of the detective sort. In many ways, it's sort of like a CSI series for a magical world living all around us. Plus, the first book asks the question... if a Vampire hunter kills a Vampire, is it murder?

The Dhampir Daughter: A John Hawthorne Novel – *In Planning* - The Omaha Nebraska FBI office was one of the dullest posts that John Hawthorne could imagine, that is until he’s called to a murder scene in a hotel room, where the coroner said the man had been dead for years. Now he finds himself standing between the man’s daughter and his murderer, a vampire hunter. Rated T for violence, language, and sexual themes.

A Fox's Tale - A YA/Fantasy series focusing on the stories of Ember Wülf and her companions Jonathan Smith and Drassus the Kobolt. Designed for the Young Adult and Teen Market, the stories are framed within an older, adult Ember telling a chronicler her history. The setting uses elements of the spiritkin and elemental mythos common to many fantasy stories, but also makes truly magical people like Jonathan and Ember rarities in the world. These magical talents are prized for their abilities and the constant search by powerful beings to find, enslave, or recruit them drives most of the plot.

A Fox’s Tale: The Warden’s Daughter - *COMPLETE - Awaiting Publication* – They call her “Fox,” but to her mind she’ll always be Ember Wülf, the daughter of the Warden. Now as a chronicler comes calling, she sits down and begins to relay her story… from the start. Ember relays the story of her earliest years, the start of her trouble with Lord Drake, her parent's deaths, and her flight from the Fiefdom of Lord Drake along with Jona. Rated T for violence, language, and sexual themes.

A Fox’s Tale: The Smith’s Son - *In Drafting* – While the chronicler focused on Ember, her companions also drew his attention. The foremost of which is the Smith’s Son… the metal mage. The boy Jona who years later remains by her side. Rated T for violence, language, and sexual themes.

Stellar Magic Universe - Conceived as a sort of urban fantasy of the far future. Stellar Magic is primarily a YA/Space Fantasy series, focusing on Wizards and Witches who coexist with normal people in a high technology environment.

Stellar Magic – *COMPLETE* Awaiting Major Revision - Two thousand years into the future, magic has been rediscovered, as have the ancient enemies that are the source of our greatest myths. Follow Kirk MacMillan, Julie Venice, Drefma, Neku Dalla, Valdor, and Christopher Nellprin as the peace between our civilizations comes to an abrupt end. Rated M for sexual themes, violence, graphic depictions of warfare, and language.

Stellar Magic: Fleet of Despair – *In Planning* - They escaped Numra, but getting off the ground was only the first step in reaching safety. Follow Kirk MacMillan and Julie Venice as they travel with a fleet of refugees under the pursuit of alien forces while trying to redouble their studies of magic. Media Tie-In Projects:

EVE Online Stories

Tales from Akash Misra and Ai-Wei Song - My two favorite characters for EVE Online, Akash Misra the Intaki power engineer turned capsuleer and his partner in crime, war, and trading Ai-Wei Song a Jin-Mei propulsion engineer turned capsuleer. These stories are basically their ongoing adventures as they work through a dangerous universe

The Rose's Bounty - *COMPLETE* Published in EON Magazine, January 2013 - The three man crew of the FF-449 Rose's Bounty face a challenge unlike any other as their boarded by a Sansha frigate intent on taking them as slaves. Akash and Ai-Wei's first adventure as lowly crewmembers. 6,000 words, Rated T for graphic depictions of warfare and language.

Graduation - *COMPLETE* Entry in the 2012 Pod and Planet Fiction Contest - That last step to becoming a capsuleer, after years of schooling and other work is one of the most difficult and dangerous ones. Each and every capsuleer must die and be reborn in a clone as a final step toward graduating and becoming one of the immortals of New Eden. Most clones never wake up.

Into the Breach - *COMPLETE* - For the new capsuleers Akash and Ai-Wei being one of the few members of Salma Idama's corporation capable of taking life a war with a pirate corporation helps to prove to them that being frigate pilots isn't that bad after all.

The Serpent Run - *COMPLETE* - In an effort to improve their corporation's standing with the Gallente Federation, Ai-Wei and Akash take a job trying to destroy a Seprentis Convoy. Nothing in their contract told them their opposites would be Serpentis Capsuleers.

Null-Sec Trading - *In Drafting* - In New Eden, high risk often means high reward, and the highest risks lie outside of empire space. Salma Idama sees an immense opportunity for profit when two major powers in null-sec go to war and organizes an immense convoy to deliver goods to the combatants. Unfortunately, pirates aren't the only threat that plague such a run as the enemy powers would much prefer nothing arrived for their foes.

Other EVE Online Stories

Chatter - *In Planning* - A 0.0 fleet engagement told from the point of view of one of it's participants... a fighter pilot. Explores just who is crazy enough to work as a fighter pilot for a capsuleer.

The Thrillseeker *In Drafting* - A Scope Interview with an engineer specializing in capsule fitted frigates, tells the story of the engineer and his partner escaping from the wreck of one of the ships, and how an experienced crewman can survive in the age of disposable ships and crews.

Link: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/8616980/1/The-Outlaws

Unity Universe - Stories told from a 'Unified' DC Multiverse which basically acts as a reboot of the New 52 and is designed to incorporate stories from multiple parts of the separate 52 Universes into a single consistent whole. It is safe to assume nearly all storylines are true at some level and that the events of DC's publishing history have been heavily compressed. Essentially one year of comics roughly translates to a month in the character's lives (assumes a reboot in 2020 as the start of the universe). The Raven series will ultimately create this universe with one of it's volumes actually being in the universe...

Titans Broken - *COMPLETE* - Batman, faced with a Starfire working alongside Red Hood and Arsenal and a Nightwing who he sees as a shadow of his first Robin, brings both of them in for a psychological evaluation. What they discover brings together the former Titans as a group to support their old friends, and find one of them to be little more than a stranger. Unfortunately for everyone, Batman has a plan. The newly reassembled Titans along with their teenage brethren under Tim Drake's Red Robin are faced with a number of challenges, among them finding funding. Bruce Wayne comes up with a plan to finance the organization, test Tim Drake, and find out the secrets of Koriandr's Tamaranian biology. Their first major case ends up being a trap, where an old foe returns to challenge them once more. Pairings: Garfield Logan/Rachel Roth, Tim Drake/Stephanie Brown, Dick Grayson/Koriand'r, Cassie Sandsmark/Conner Kent.

Harry Potter Fanfiction Projects in Progress:

One World - *In Progress* - In J.K. Rowling's first draft it wasn't Hagrid that found Harry Potter in Godric's Hollow, but a lowly dentist named Granger. What if he had? Harry Potter is brought before the muggle authorities, the son of two unidentified parents, an apparent orphan. With Daniel Granger named the child's temporary guardian, he disappears into the muggle world to be raised as any other boy. (Hermione - Harry sibling relationship)

The Auror Office - On May 2nd, 1999 Minister of Magic Kinglsey Shacklebolt signed Ministry Decree 7707B, creating the Seventh Section of the Auror Office. Its purpose was exclusively to identify, pursue, and prosecute Dark Wizards to the fullest extent of the law. Hidden within the magical decree was another purpose, to protect the magical world as a whole from any darkness or external threat. Only one wizard was trusted enough by the Minister to lead the new section… Harry Potter. In June, Potter selected six others to fill the department… These are their stories.

Harry Potter and the Auror Office - *In Planning* - A year eight novel. The Second Wizarding War is over, leaving Harry Potter and his friends with a world filled with grief, crime, and the task of rebuilding their world. Rated M for violence, sexual content, and Ministry politics.

The Auror Office: Volume #1 - Section 7 - *In Planning* - They are the elite of the Auror Office, a small team tasked to handle the most dangerous of criminals. Join Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Susan Bones, Tracey Davis, Theodore Nott, and Neville Longbottom as they work to make sure no Dark Wizard ever threatens the Wizarding World again. Pairings: Harry/Ginny, Ron/Hermione, Neville/Hannah, and Tracey/Theo.

The Son of Prongs - Harry Potter is taken from the doorstep of the Dursley's by his Godfather Sirius Black and Harry Potter disappears. No one noticed the first appearance of the name Lawrence Lupin days later, as the ministry and the Order of the Phoenix searched desperately for the boy and his Godfather. What followed was what Moony and Padfoot would describe as the greatest prank to ever befall the Wizarding World. Meant to be much more lighthearted at the start then the original stories, it's a good fun romp.

Blaez, arrives at Hogwarts with a full bag of tricks, a loving family at his back, and his first encounter with his arch enemy before him. Year 1 - A Philosopher's Stone AU. Inside: The New Marauders; Egyptian Entertainment; Damnable Dursleys; Loony Lupin; Dog, Wolf, Otter, and Fox; and the Trouble with Time Turners. Rated T due to violence, evil gits, language, and an infuriating rat.

The Son of Prongs and the Triwizard Troubles - *In Planning* - After a grim turn of events at the Quidditch World Cup, Harry Potter and his friends find themselves once again in a wild year when the Goblet of Fire spits out his name and forces him into participating in the Triwizard Tournament. Year 4 - Goblet of Fire AU. Inside: An Application of Avis, the Dragon Speaker, Amortentia's Secrets, the Secrets of Serpent-tongue, and Maze Madness. Rated M due to violence, evil gits, language, blood, and evil magic rituals.
