I’m Nini. -wavewave- A longlong time ago I was g0ldensnidget, a.k.a Snitch, but I was renamed by the combined hypeness of 2 of my friends, burgers, fries with too much ketchup, and waaaay too much coke (and I mean coca cola, damnit!). I’m 20 years old and I live in Israel, just finished my two years of service in the IDF (army). I'm diabetic and I'm dealing with it just fine, thankyouverymuch. I am the proud Beta-reader (recently premoted to Editor) and friend of The Velvet Ghost (and one of her many alter-egos). She's the author of several very well-written Harry Potter fanfics. If you see her referring to someone called 'Snidgey', that's me. Go read her stuff. NOW. And leave long, detailed reviews; she'll love you forever :) My likes include Disney, books, movies and movie soundtracks, J-pop/rock, yaoi, writing... the latest addiction is anime. My favorites are (in chronological order of discovery...) Gravitation, Inuyasha, Hikaru no Go, Yugi-Oh, Tsubasa Chronicle, Full Metal Alchemist, Kaleido Star, Bleach, and X. Naruto is... growing on me. Oh, and Junjo Romantica is love. My dislikes include studying for exams (thank god that's over for now), Mary-Sues (as in, both the story genre and the character herself), horror films, heavy-metal music, and the all time least-favorite: Writer’s Block... ’nuff said. There are a few pet peeves, which include but are not limited to: bad fanfiction authors who think they’re good, tactlessness, bigotry and antisemitism, and people who are both smart and beautiful - because, really, that's just plain unfair. There are a few choice quotes I like, which are featured as Quote of the Month at the top of my bio each month - I try not to repeat myself :P There are also a few actors I admire, like Robin Williams, Johnny Depp, Sean Connery, Will Smith, Jeremy Irons... and several composers I absolutely adore: Alan Menken, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman... oh, and Mozart. And, um, Igor Stravinski. Yeah, I'm wierd. Also, anime series' composers: Yuki Kajiura (Tsubasa Chronicle) and Naoki Sato (X, plus the movie Sword of the Stranger) Right. So. Majorly fucked-up movie. Really not my cup of tea. I suppose I can say it was a good film, cinematically, and the suspense was well-done, kept me interested. But the drama was a bit much, all the self-flagellation from Will Smith's character... also, the end (I mean the very last scene) was too much, it was taking it just one step too far. | |||||||
