With apologies to all my loyal readers, I have decided that I will be withdrawing from ffnet as a writer. I regret that I have to break my promise to finish my stories, but the spark, the inspiration, the joy just isn't there anymore.

Not only have I lost the ability for creative writing, but have mostly lost interest in the Harry Potter fandom in general after ... what is it ... over 8 years? When JKR made Harry ultimately so ORDINARY, even fighting back with Harry Magus seemed hopeless. Book 7 was the final nail in my 'coffin', I think, though I started ailing as early as Book 5 with angsty!Harry.

Please do not contact me offering to adopt the stories. Though incomplete, they are my 'babies'. If the time comes that I can return to writing, I will come back here and repost, but only if the stories have been completed.

I will be closing this account, and will read and review under a new non-writing account.
My website, the-dreamer.info will be dismantled. I'll also be dropping out of fictionalley, where I used to post a copy of Awakening.

I had originally planned to just disappear quietly, but my daughter urged me to give notice as a courtesy to all those who have been so kind and loyal, and have waited so long for more. I still get new alert notices, even with so-long incomplete stories. That amazes me.

You've all been wonderful with your feedback, and I'll always be grateful.
