Today is my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY with Inventor! I love you, darling. And I love all of you too! You amazing Potterheads who stalk my profile and even occasionally read my stories! I LOVE YOU! :')

7-15-12:
I didn't watch the last movie a year ago today. I'd just moved into a new house and life was hectic. My parents didn't allow me to go. I was so so mad, because I felt like I was betraying my duty as a loyal Potterhead. But later on, I realized that they were actually doing me a favor, delaying the moment until the final notes of Hedwig's Theme floated away on the big screen for the last time. My family will probably never know this, but they helped the magic live on, just a while longer, in me. I went to the theatre with my two best non-Potterhead friends five days later, where I succeeded in converting one of them into one of us. That's when I realized that the magic will never truly be over. Everyday, there are people all over the world picking up a Harry Potter book for the first time; or starting yet another marathon; or planning a vacation to Florida, to Hogwarts, their home. And everyday, those people are joining the ranks of Rowling's Army, becoming the next generation of witches and wizards. It doesn't matter who's been there the longest, it's who will always be there, until the very end. Potter on, guys.
(Don't worry, I'm not usually this emotional. It's just...I'm a Potterhead and this murders my feels, all right?)

7-26-12:
My laptop broke and can't be fixed. I feel like I just lost my closest friend.

8-6-12:
Well, my kind uncle gave me my aunt's old laptop to use, but it isn't the same. The keyboard spazzes randomly; it doesn't have my old bookmarks and account passwords saved; I lost all my documents (including half-finished oneshots and multichappies that I really really liked) and pictures. So if I don't update in a while, don't worry, I'm still alive. Just in mourning, that's all.

9-30-12:
I just finished Nevermore (the last Maximum Ride book) and all I can do it just gape at it. I mean, what just happened? I don't understand. What just happened? It was such a screwed-up book. I can't even. Wow, no I really can't. I don't know what to say. I saw this coming, ever since The Final Warning when it because apparent that James Patterson really doesn't care about writing for itself anymore, but this was beyond my comprehension. How someone could've possibly butchered a series with so much promise is beyond me.

Dream job: Formerly author. Recently, I realized that I'd be happy with doing anything that involves writing, whether it be screenplay, a TV show, an article for a magazine, whatever. I don't need to publish a book to be happy. But my parents want me to be a doctor TT_TT (That part hasn't changed).

My favorite pairing of all time is James/Lily, so most of my stories will be Marauder Era and Jily.

As cliche as it is, I love Rose and Scorpius together. Kinda shaky on the rest of the Next Gen, but that's one pairing I will write about.

Joanne Kathleen Rowling is my idol. I want to be as good as her someday, if that's possible.

Favorite books: If you haven't already figured out, Harry Potter is my life. I started reading it in second grade and finished in the summer before third grade. It's something I will never, ever, ever get tired of. I also like the Percy Jackson series and basically anything by Rick Riordan. That man can do no wrong. I also like The 39 Clues and Edgar Allan Poe stuff. George RR Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire is the best thing that happened to high fantasy since Lord of the Rings. I used to like Maximum Ride and The Hunger Games before the authors brought in the FRIGGIN LOVE TRIANGLES. I can rant a whole lot more, but I won't.

Favorite ships: Jily (my biggest OTP), Romione, Blackinnon (Sirius/Marlene McKinnon). Also Percabeth, Royai, Al/his kitties, Jeyna, Frodo/Sam, Merry/Pippin, Gollum/The Ring, etc.
