Hi!

I'm a massive fan of Ashes to Ashes and Life on Mars...you can probably tell :)
I love writing stories, some of which are very short and have no plot whatsoever, but if I think they're good enough, I'll publish them! I also find I have to hand write stories before I type them...inspiration is hard to find when I am staring at a screen which gives me a headache!

At the moment, I have written fics only for Ashes to Ashes and one Ashes to Ashes/Upstairs Downstairs crossover, but who knows, maybe one day, I'll write stories for something else if it can hold my attention for long enough.

All The Things In Between: This fic is basically a series of 'deleted scenes' from Losing Grip. The scenes won't be published in any particular order-I write them as and when they come to me. Also, some will be longer than others. I decided to start this fic because there is so much more in Losing Grip that I would have liked to included, but I couldn't because I needed to keep the story at a consistent pace. If you haven't read Losing Grip, I suggest you do so before reading this, othewise this fic will make no sense :p PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS FIC IS M RATED FROM THE START AS THE FIRST TWO CHAPTERS ARE VERY DARK BUT IN NO WAY REFLECT THE TONE OF THE FUTURE CHAPTERS! I think I made a bit of a mistake posting the two darkest scenes first...

Boredom, Keys and Quattros: This was my entry for fashiongirl97's 'Galex Galore' challenge where writers were given promts and had to write a fic around them. I chose 'boredom' and the outcome was a short little fic where Alex tries to get a response out of Gene who is bored stiff...

Losing Grip: There is a connection between the title and chapter names of this fic...can you work it out? Anyway, this fic opens with a rather depressed Gene missing a certian person who has been taken from him as a seemingly innocent result of a seemingly normal case. However, when she suddenly rings him, begging for his help, what will happen? More to the point, what actually happened to Alex...? Starts off angsty, gets angsty and sad, then gets angsty AND sad AND dark but I'm hoping to give it a happy(ish) ending! VERY DARK-DON'T READ IF YOU'RE EASILY OFFENDED/UPSET. IT IS M RATED FOR A REASON!!!

That And So Much More: An angsty oneshot for which I used the scene from Ashes to Ashes series 1, episode 6 where Alex is in her flat talking to Molly as my starting point. What would have happened if she had fallen asleep and given in to the clown? It's very depressing and different to what I normally write. I warn you of character death but promise plenty of Galex!

Trevor: Just a short fic inspired by a true story to fill in the gap between 'White Envelopes' and my next multi-chapter fic (whatever that will be...). Mainly Galex, feel-good fluff. What happens when Alex goes in undercover at a vet's but comes out with more than both she and Gene bargained for...? NB-I have now changed my profile picture to a photo of Trevor, the cat who inspired this story. Sorry it's not a very good one...It was taken on a very old mobile phone and Trevor is very camera shy, I just thought it would be good if readers wanted to see the real thing!!! :p

Vivid Dreams?: Crossover with Ashes to Ashes and Upstairs Downstairs. The first crossover I have written in which Gene meets someone who is a total stranger to him yet is so familiar...Will shape up to have pretty much a 'feelgood' theme.

White Envelopes: My first multi-chapter plot heavy fic. Very angsty throughout and a little bit dark in some places. When Alex is taken from Gene can he keep himself together long enough to find her and will he get to her on time? Lots of fluffly Galex but as I said before, very, very angsty.

Tinsel and Bolly: Short, feelgood, festive oneshot. Our two favourite people at Christmas time. What more could you want?

Stay: Very short oneshot about Alex's journey to the Railway Arms. Would anything have happened differently if she had looked back on her walk there? Quite hastily written because it popped into my head and was posted on here half an hour later.

Back to the Future: No, despite popular belief, this does not involve Alex or anyone else waking up back in 2008. I stole the title from a very popular 80s film franchise :p Gene decides Alex needs to cheer up and stop being a moody cow and he thinks he has the solution!

I'll Wait: Angsty. Depressing. Implied Galex. I handed this in at college as homework once and decided to post it on here. It's only 200 words long (that was the rules for the homework), so it is very short and the author's note is probably longer than the actual story, but don't let that put you off! It's just someone (Alex) sitting in an unidentified place (TRA) contemplating what had just happened (just think Ashes to Ashes series1-3, and in particular series 3, episodes 7 and 8!).

I giorni: This was my enrty for Jazzola and XTimeGirlX's OMG Challenge in which a Galexy fic where either Gene or Alex have a secret was required! The team respond to a robbery in progress at a posh house. Alex is being her usual enigmatic, distracted self and Gene tries to get to the bottom of it. All in all, more than one secret is revealed and by both characters!

Don't Hold Back: This was my first ever fic. It was intended as a oneshot but then for some odd reason, I added a very poor second chapter to it! :o Gene and Alex are having an argument (quelle surprise) but then one of them takes a drastic step to shut the other up. How does it end...? Not sure if I still like this fic, but I'm going to leave it up purely for the reason that it was my first fic and I am therefore strangely proud of it.
