TEMPORARY HIATUS

This is a note to all of my readers that I am taking a temporary break from fanfiction. Most of you know from my profile or author's notes in my fanfiction that I am a published author outside of the wonderful realm of fanfiction, and as such, I have obligations to write my original work. As it is the original work that pays and not the fanfiction, which is purely for fun, there are times when I need to put the fun on hold and get to work.

This is one such time. I am nearing the completion of my current novel, and also nearing the deadline. As such, I need to devote my time to my novel. This requires that I take a respite from fanfiction until I have the novel completed. Rest assured, it shall not be a long time. I predict three months at the most, though it is more likely to be only two.

I am aware that people often find it annoying when one of their watched authors stops updating, and for this, I apologize. I do hope you can understand, however, that for us to have these wonderful universes to delve into through fanfiction, those authors needed to write the books first. I am hoping that some day soon, my own novels will have a welcoming number of fanfictions here. We shall see.

I will be sad to lose any readers who do not wish to wait for my return, and I hope that I do not, but I am aware of the possibility. For those of you willing to wait, you have my thanks, and I hope to be back soon. Rest assured, those of you who read my Star Trek fics and The Search For Life and Death, those are my two most popular fanfictions, and I will be jumping right back into them once my break is finished.
