Hey, guys!

I'm DemonColours, and I joined FanFiction June 30th, 2011, at around 11:15 pm. Yeah, I agree, it might've been cooler if I joined on Canada Day, with less than an hour to go, but I ended up not waiting (I can be selectively impatient, you see).

So I'm here for a few reasons.

1. To read other stories that may or may not help me understand/see farther into a movie or whatever that I'm interested in.

2. To improve upon my writing capabilities.

3. To help others improve upon their writing capabilities.

4. To put in my own two cents about other books, movies, etc.

5. To waste time. (Just kidding! But seriously.)

On another another note: I know that most of my stories are downers and all depressing and whatever, but I am currently working on a multichapter story that focuses mainly on action, plot twists, etc, (but don't worry, there will be a fair amount of angst and whatever). I'm not sure if I'll post it here or just let it rot in my documents folder, but only time shall tell.

Books: I read a lot of books, but I don't think I'm exactly what one would call a 'bookworm'. I've read:

Maximum Ride by James Patterson,

The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini,

Soul Screamers by Rachel Vincen),

Th1rteen R3asons Why by Jay Asher (my favourite novel),

The Silverwing Saga by Kenneth Oppel,

The Uglies Series by Scott Westerfeld,

The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare,

Harry Potter by J.K Rowling, (of course)

and a whole bunch of other ones. These are just my most prefered out of my bookshelves. Huh. Maybe I am a bookworm.

Manga/Animes: Yeah, I read and watched some, but the only animes I watched were from Bleach. The mangas I read are below.

I've read Bleach (even thought it's still in progress), watched the movies Memories of Nobody, Diamond Dust Rebellion (which is a pretty cool title, I must say), and Fade to Black. I'm excited to see what could next though, this particular manga/anime seems quite interesting.

I only read Death Note, I didn't watch the anime that was created after...there was an anime that was created after, right? I have no clue. But anyway, this manga was a brain destroyer, I say! So much logic and mind twisting madness that forces you to use your brain as you read. But despite that, it's freakin' awesome. It's truly indescribable.

FullMetal Alchemist was different. I think there's an anime for this one, but I never bothered to find out. It's because I'm lazy, not because it sucked or anything. It's quite amusing, and this story is really different than all the other ones i've read (manga and bookwise). I really like all the twists and turns in this tale and it's overall pretty good.

I'm also currently reading Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler, which a friend of mine recommended to me. I've also finished watching the two seasons of their anime. Man, it took me a few tries to say Kuroshitsuji right. Hey, I ain't Japanese, so it isn't my fault. Anyway, I'm liking this so far; things are starting to get interesting. Here's a MINOR spoiler, but it's just a character spoil, and he comes pretty early into the story: THE UNDERTAKER IS AWESOME. Sorry about that; just had to get it out of my system. No more spoilers, I promise! Well, about Kuroshitsuji, that is. So the plot right now seems pretty hidden; I can't tell what it is exactly because we're going through a bunch of subplots. I'm looking forward to the rest of the tale!

I'm also currently following Soul Eater, which that same friend (the one mentioned above) suggested. The style of anime is one I'm unused to and it took a while to adjust. If you've read Bleach, Death Note, and Kuroshitsuji, you'd know where I'm coming from. Soul Eater's idea of Soul Resonance and Shinigami remind me of Bleach's system a little bit, but other than that the two stories are completely different. I'm rather interested in this new one...perhaps my friend's got good taste in manga?
