Alright. I love fanfiction. I tend to spend most of my time writing my original story ideas, but sometimes its nice just to unwind completely by writing in worlds where other people have done the legwork to make it believable! Other times, I just don't want the story they told to end. Whilst I try to keep my fanfiction at a decent quality, I'd be lying if I said I made it suffer the constant self-doubt and editorial that my other work does. I edit it once, and that's it. Because I'm here to enjoy myself and tell a story, not craft a bestseller. And hopefully people here will enjoy some of what I write.

A bit about myself. I am gay, but also an independent Catholic. That is, I don't attend Mass, and spend a lot of my time looking for answers to those interminable questions that faith attempts to answer. Much of my work may be construed as anti-Catholic, which is perhaps a correct assumption. However, I still associate myself strongly with God and the catechism. I just take my guidance from other religions and my own conscience as well. And yes... I am aware of that quote that says, "The problem with the loss of Christian authority is not that man no longer believes, it is that they begin to believe anything." I just believe that the answers to the wonders and mysteries of the Universe cannot be gained just from one religion or viewpoint, but from others.

I also adore politics, and next year am going to Cardiff University to study Politics and Religious Studies. I alternate between fun and lackadaisical, and then worryingly serious. I am passionate about ending injustice, and many other things. These viewpoints probably come across in much of my writing. I don't delete anything I've completed or written anymore, and that means that some of my bad poetry is still on here. They will remain here, because they capture emotions I still feel, even if they were written with a clumsiness that occasionally makes me wince.

Status of projects:

Hope's Light - will be worked on eventually (promise!), but for now, on hold

Magic and Murder - on hold, indefinitely

The Serpent Ring - cancelled, due to the death of Robert Jordan. I don't feel comfortable writing it anymore. Sorry for those who left very helpful comments

Harry Potter - got a new fic up, about the Founders!

Sollocrie - on hold, indefinitely
