Writing Journal:

15 August 2011 -- I should be about halfway through the next chapter of Damaged People, other than rewrites. It's kind of slow going, I won't lie. I desperately require a Beta, so anyone up for the job should message me!

27 June 2011 -- I keep abandoning my established projects to write random one-shots! Well, whatever. Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier one-shot up. It has smut! I don't write adult fiction; what is this and what is it doing here. Haha, I'm a little self-conscious about how it turned out, so please give feedback. Okay, back to working on the other nonsense.

23 June 2011 -- Working on so much right now. You'll notice that I published a Doctor Who one-shot; I've been working on a follow-up; a sort-of continuance that would also function perfectly adequately as a stand alone. It's longer in length, and more than one scene; I'm not really certain what it'll end up becoming. I'm also working on a pretty involved Remus/Harry fic (there's such a paucity of them!), and outlining a rather complicated Supernatural genfic saga that I may write after the hiatus, may not. It all depends on some bits of my life at that point in time. All the while, toiling at the new Damaged People, which I lost the first draft to. It's getting rewritten, slowly but surely. I know. It'll be out one day, I promise.

18 May 2011 -- I've been publishing Opacity without a Beta because my arrangement with mine sort of fell apart. Anyone else interested in revising the published material as well as future chapters is encouraged to message or review.

18 April 2011 -- Opacity has been done for about a month, but my beta is having trouble with her computer. Was going to publish under a new account, but eh, what the hell. Cleaned up the profile; it was getting to be a bit of an epic in length.

18 Jan 2011 -- Yeah, I'm still alive. For the last three months my life has been busybusybusy, but since I quit my job to focus on school, hopefully I can pick writing back up again. Opacity is at fifty-seven pages, and I am getting into the final arc. Should one-shots even have arcs? Man, there's no way this monstrosity is still a one-shot. But I will finish it, and then I will probably knock out a chapter or two of Damaged People. I had a lot planned for that story, and I think I will still hit on some of it, but I think you guys deserve some closure. In the future? I'd like to eventually do a decent Sailor Moon or Twelves Kingdoms fic, but only if I could work up an epic plot; maybe a rewrite, a la STC, or AU, but no more high school fic. My latest brain candy has been Harry Potter fanfic. Getting back to my roots, awwww yeah. Anyway, don't lose hope. We'll see how it goes.

13 June 2010 -- Opacity is forty-four pages is twelve-point Times New Roman font, single spaced. Yeah. In other news, you'll notice I cleared away all my old stories. I have them archived, but, yeah. It's better this way. Seriously.

04 June 2010 -- Over 16,000 words into Opacity; I have created a monster! I don't know if it can be stopped! o.o

16 May 2010 -- Progress on Damaged People Chapter Ten has been stalled, once again. I have neglected it to work on a Kingdom Hearts oneshot. It's about nine-thousand words in length right now, and I still have a few scenes left. I'm also looking for a beta for this story. I have someone in mind, but she hasn't been in the fanfiction department in a while, so we'll see if it works out. I'm enjoying writing it, though. I hope it turns out well. I still don't have an ending finalised in my head, but it sort of has written itself so far, so I'm not worried. Well, all for now.
EDIT: The new work (drafted as 'Opacity', but title is subject to change), will be beta'd by the wonderful O.Forgetful.O. She's a wonderful writer who has helped Damaged People through her reviews constantly, though her works are vacationing in hiatusville, (likely chilling with Damaged People), and I'm looking forward to working with her, and letting this run-on sentence come to a close!

24 April 2010 -- It's not big news, but I have started on Damaged People Chapter Ten. I began yesterday. I have one scene, about five-hundred words completed. This is going to be a shorter chapter, no more than about nine-thousand words, and the content is pretty loose, but it introduces two new major arcs, continues two romance conflicts, and is chock full of character development. The chapter after that is tense because of the final scene of this chapter, and the rest of the arc is, well, heavy. It'll span most of the rest of Ed's Junior year. But yeah.

22 April 2010 -- The bad news is that I haven't even started the next Damaged People chapter yet. It's fallen into a sort of hiatus that I have been in denial about. The good news is that I have once again found myself loving Roy/Ed, and I'm excited to get back into the genre. Hopefully, this will manifest in some sort of chapter at some point.

31 May 2009 -- I randomly wrote a Remus/Harry-scented drabble... Haven't even started writing the next chapter of Damaged People yet, though I still do not consider it to be on hiatus, because I intend on working on it in short order. Don't worry, that story is far from over, yet.

04 January 2009 -- After an evening of marathon writing, I managed to hammer out about six-thousand words in one sitting, successfully completing chapter nine of Damaged People and adding 13,900 to the overall word count. For those who pay attention, my word count is sort of my point of pride. I'm pretty ridiculous with that nonsense. Anyway, newest chapter is up, and I hope that every enjoys, reviews, and participates in the challenge I posted at the end.

01 January 2009 -- Worked on chapter nine for the first time in a whiles last night. about four-thousand words short of a chapter yet, though, so please have patience. Oh, sixth anni at effeffdotnet came and went. They only words I can express to adequately express my feelings on the subject are "Good God, I need a life." XD
EDIT: Almost forgot to mention that your beloved TVG is now going by her more prominent internet handle, Daydreamishly. This is more to confirm ubiquity than any other motive. Besides which, after the abomination that was Twilight the Movie was released, I no longer felt that desire to be associated with the legions of the undead.

18 October 2008 -- Still working on chapter nine! Sorry for the delay. About halfway through, methinks. It's going pretty slowly. I hope not too much longer, though! But during November, well, NaNo coming up, and I won't have much time to write anything that isn't teh novel. I doubt anyone will have time to read anything, aditionally. So maybe December-ish? Hope so! Working, I really am!

06 August 2008 -- Including all the author's notes and nonsense, chapter eight point five of DP is ten-thousand, five hunderd words long. Again, a lot of that is me hinting at the future of DP rather than actual fic, but at the same time. Dizziness! Please review this one, guys. You don't know how hard I've worked to produce that chapter in such a short span of time (comparatively). On the bright side, the next chapter is about a third of the way completed. xD
I've also been doing a lot of beta-ing lately, if you're curious as to my writing whereabouts these days. I think that if I get enough references, I will start a section in my profile for fic that I have edited or assisted with. 29 June 2008 -- Expect a new "chapter" of DP sooner rather than later. In fact, the next update will not be a chapter per se, but a transition. Sort of like A Part Two prologue, with a rehash of Part One. I know. Crack kills, and all. I should definitely rethink bits of my life out.

09 September 2007 -- Took about five minutes to write down the stupid alternate ending HP fic that's been plaguing my mind, hope you found it amusing. I'm about three thousand words into DP7 right now, so that's about a third of the chapter. I think. =/

30 August 2007 -- Started writing DP chapter seven. Yayyy. It'll probably be up... by the new year. -_-' I have school coming soon. I'll try to work on it. No immediate guarantees, I'm afraid.

05 August 2007 -- Ohmigod ohmigod ohmigod. Chapter six of DP. Posted! & you want to know what else? EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED WORDS. That's right. I've topped chapter five. And I love myself for it. Also, I'm working on a short four-part HP fic that is really more for myself than anything else. Additionally, a Holly Black's Modern Faery Tale series one-shot in the works, just because I can, really. _

29 July 2007 -- I've hit a rut. Chapter six started off smoothly, but I'm having trouble coming up with more scenes. I have a feeling that what I planned for chapter seven will now have to be integrated into chapter six. I'm not exactly sorry for this, but I'm not overwhelmed with joy, either. I rilly need to sit down and rewrtie my outline, lol.

16 July 2007 – I just wrote the first scene of DP chapter six. Already nearly two-thousand words! With a good many scenes of that length, like I intend on having, I’ll surpass 8,000 yet. Okay, that’s exaggerated, probably. But a girl can dream, can’t she?

05 July 2007 -- Happy belated Fourth of New St. Easter's Hallow Giving Eve! Just published DP6 yesterday (finally); haven't even started on DP7 yet. It's going to be a pretty pointless chapter that just develops the RoyEd relationship, probably a bunch of scenes featuring just them. I have a bit of a plot twist that will throw them into turmoil with each toher (again) coming afterwards. They don't seem to be able to stay happy with each other, do they? That's okay. They'll eventually get a hapily ever after, you know it's inevitbile, no suspense there. Probably sooner rather than later in fact, because I have a lot of side relationships I want to get together. I mean, you don't think I'm keeping the HavocWinry thing, do you? That's just some silliness that will add more drama later. There's a lot going on behind the scenes, particularly with Havoc, that no one reading DP has been introduced to yet, really. I'm having fun. I came up with the ending scene (yes, DP will eventually have to end) in my head the other day. I'm hoping to span Ed's last two years of high school in this fic. Afterwards I probably won't work on another FMA fanfic for a while; I have a KH project I've been denying attention to and an HP fic concept I came up with today actually. I have too many stroies to write, meeps! Maybe I'll hack out enough of DP that I can start on the KH fic soon... Bleh. You realise I've already had DP going for... well, come to think, yesterday was my nine-month day. Six chapters in nine months. That's a little sad. Ah, well. I've had school, and whatnot. 19 June 2007 -- After realizing my previous "journal" entry on here had deceased mysteriously, major profile renovation came about and now it is here once more. This journal is pretty much pointless as well; the only actual writing news I have to offer is reaching the over-halfway point on DP chapter five (or sixe, depending on whether you count the prologue, which I don't). Today is my first day of summer break. I woke up at EIGHT-ELEVEN today, only a little over two hours later than I would wake up on a school day, and instead of promptly rolling back over, I brushed my teeth, went downstairs where it's only me because my daddy & stepmom are out somewhere, gasped at the LACK OF READILY AVAILABLE CAFFEINE, made a new pot of coffee, and sat down to work on DP. Which I haven't started. Well, you know. MySpace. Priorites. xD Also, I've noticed that Roy/Ed fangirlism seems to be inextricably linked (on the Roy/Ed side of the spectrum, anyway) with Kingdom Hearts obsession. Oddly enough, most of the Roy/Ed fangirls are, like myself, Riku/Sora shippers. Go figure.
Still tempted with the idea of changing my penname. We'll see how it goes. I do really love TVG, it's been a great identity these last few months, but I'm getting to the point where I feel like Daydreamishly™ should be my universal insignia. I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. That's all for today.
