September 2009: As long as my muse keeps cooperating with me, I'll be back to posting fanfic again sometime soon. Currently working on a Buffy/Angel fanfic. I've got several more chapters to finish. Actually, make that more than several (lol), but it's coming along nicely and hopefully I'll finish it and be able to post it in a few months. :)

Now, for something a little non-fanfic related and of interest to "Port Charles" fans: Due to the closure of Geocities, I was forced to move my Rafe/Alison website to another service provider or have my site deleted. About Me:

So I suppose I could tell you a little bit about myself...

I’ve always loved to write, ever since I was kid. Really, I wrote short stories when I was eight years old and had dreams of being a published writer when I grew up. Although I won a couple of writing contests in school, I’ve never had any original work published…yet. I’m still hoping that some day, I’ll finish that novel I’ve been working on for as long as I can remember. Maybe one day…

But for now…I love writing fanfic. It has always been my favorite thing to write, probably because it combines my two favorite things: TV and writing. I only write fanfic for shows that I’m “obsessed” over. Soap operas mostly, because I’ve always been a big soap opera fan. I watch an unhealthy amount of television I will admit, and once in a while, I love a show/couple so much that it’s really all I can think about. It takes over my life, and then my muse starts getting excited, giving me all sorts of ideas for a story. Sometimes I write to make the show’s storyline better in my mind. Other times, I just love the characters so much that I want more of them and write them in my own stories.

Maybe after I’ve written enough fanfiction, I’ll finally be able to tackle that novel. Unless of course another show comes along that I get obsessed over, then I’m all about the fanfic again…

Maybe I should have gone into television writing as a career, lol. :)

What’s next?

My newest obsession is Buffy. I know, the show has been over for years! But I never watched the show when it was on the air and I had to watch to see what all the fuss was about. (This is why I love technology. Yay for HULU and NETFLIX! And now I watch an even more unhealthy amount of television…)

So anyway, I’m currently working on a Buffy/Angel fanfic, actually, two fanfictions. One is something I wrote for Nanowrimo, and though it’s over 100 pages now, it’s not even close to being done. I’ve changed the story sooo many times and until I can decide how I want the story to actually go, it won’t be finished. So wish me luck on that one lol. The other one is better planned, but still not done. Hopefully I’ll be able to finish that story in a few months so I can post it. And if not, then it was fun writing anyway :)

To my Grey's Anatomy fans: Thanks for the reviews and putting my fics on your favorite story lists! :) I'm glad you enjoyed reading them! But I'm sorry to say that I don't think I'll be able to finish my Mer/Der story "A Weekend Away" :( I know...I suck! It's just that my muse has seemed to move on to other interests. New rule...I don't post fanfic until I FINISH it. But never say never...maybe I'll get inspired to finish it someday...

To my Port Charles fans: In case you didn't know, I have another Rafe/Alison fanfic, "Heaven Sent an Angel", the first one in my series of Rali stories. It's not posted here at ff.net because I'm too lazy to post the 80+ chapters of it lol. Not to mention that I'd probably make everyone on my author alert list really mad...80+ chapters, really.
