Author has written 8 stories for Lord of the Rings, Fairy Tales, Ella Enchanted, Pride and Prejudice, and Persuasion. http://www.fictionpress.com/~thebohemiananarchist THE NAZGULQUEEN aka Emma the alter ego of the Witch-King of Angmar Currently, I'm working on a Persuasion adaptation and a sequel to We Can Work It Out. My summer is slightly hectic, but in the fall I am actually going to England to study for ten months!! Besides being insanely excited, I'm hoping this will improve my stories that are set in the UK (particularly the two aforementioned). My name is Emma, the NazgulQueen. I am, obviously, a huge fan of Lord of the Rings, but none of my LOTR stories except for my very first one were terribly successful, so I actually don't have any up. A little bit about me: Age: 20 Location: If I told you, I'd have to kill you. I can tell you that I'm currently located in the USA. Favorite Fanfiction Genres: Fairy tales, Jane Austen, LOTR, Harry Potter, and Ella Enchanted. Favorite Genre to Write In: Fairy tales and Jane Austen. Likes: Rock n' roll, movies, theatre, ballet, reviews, Johnny Depp, my dog, history, and tigers. Dislikes: Conservatives, Eowyn, Fleetwood Mac, Vice President Cheney (that man is terrifying), onions, horror films, and WHALES. Actually am quite terrified of whales, and so have never read Moby Dick and despise the movie Pinocchio. FictionPress: I have a story up called The Lya, but I haven't actually updated it in forever. It's an ambitious story that requires time and consideration, neither of which I currently possess a lot of, so it'll have to wait. I also have a one-shot up that I wrote for my creative writing class this past semester. Thought of the moment: I do not want people to be agreeable, as it saves me the trouble of liking them. ~ Jane Austen Read below to find out more about me as an author. Hello, fellow appreciators of literature! I know I'm not the most consistent of writers, so here's a little update on my uncompleted stories: I Saw Her Standing There: A modern adaptation of Persuasion. I am attempting to work on it in a more expeditious fashion. We Can Work It Out: A modern Pride & Prejudice. I started it before the movie came out because (and I apologize to other writers) I was flipping through the Jane Austen section and the P&P stories that were up, I felt, weren't really doing it justice, so I decided to take a crack at it. That sounds horribly arrogant, but oh well. Completed and possibly awaiting a sequel. Spinning a Yarn: LOVE this story, but the last chapter I wrote received only one review so I sort of lost inspiration (see how important reviews are?) Ginger is by far one of my most favorite characters I've ever created, and I'd really love to write a new chapter for this and see if I get new readers. I have where it's going in my head, and when I have more time this is definitely high on my priority list. Flaming Red and the Sundance Kid: My first Ella Enchanted story. Again, another story I get really excited about when I go back and read it over. I guess since it doesn't have the original canon characters it didn't do that well as far as reviews are concerned? Might continue, might not. All other stories are completed. As a writer, my biggest priorities are engaging characters, good grammar, correct punctuation, correct capitalization, and smooth dialogue. That's rare here on ol' fanfiction.net, so I try to do the best I can! I do try to read other people's stories, but as you can probably tell from my favorites list, I don't always get around to it. I always review though! (hint hint) So read my stories, review, e-mail me, send me fun messages. I’m around… Love, luck and flying Ringwraiths, Emma the NazgulQueen | |||||||||
