Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter. Hi Super Nice Person :) Welcome to the Ant Farm. I've always wanted to say that. Geek alert. So I believe that the key to becoming a great author is to stay within your comfort zone. It's not like fashion, where you can go crazy and stun the audience right then, right there. You have to breathe your writing. And write what you breathe. I took the wrong road starting a year ago on fanfiction. I started with long, complicated multi-chapters when I should have accustomed people to my writing and should have worked on enhancing my abilities with short one-shots. One another note, I have heard of this debacle of a "story" known as My Immortal. At first I really thought it was a joke but after two chapters of skimming I decided there were too many brain cells sacrificed to actually find out. Turns out, the girl was serious! And quiet frankly I still haven't gotten over the fact that her story is terrible to an extend of comedic, negative, popularity. Good bye for now, Soaring Pandas | |||||
