11/2/08 - Okay, I just made a bunch of edits to Back to the Present, which is why a lot of you probably got an email notification about it. Nothing within the plot itself has changed, I just wanted to familiarize myself with my writing style again before I get back into it. Read the Author's Note at the beginning of Chapter 1 for more info about that. School's really really tough right now, so I don't know what I'm going to be able to do right now, but whenever I get tired of studying I'll try to write something. Right now I'm working on a Twilight story (sorry Ten Guidelines fans! I'll finish it... eventually!). The story is a one shot and it's halfway finished. I want to have it posted BEFORE the movie comes out because I know there's going to be an explosion of bad fics in the site once is does. Okay, so goodbye for now! =) Oh, one more thing:

Hi everyone! Thank you for visiting my profile!

My name is Jackie. I'm eighteen years old, and I attend Rutgers University with a major in nursing. My birthday is December 18th, which means I'm a Sagittarius =D I really enjoy music. In high school I was a member of 3 different choirs and I participated in all of the plays/musicals. I love hip-hop/rap, R&B, Pop, Latin, & J-Pop music, but I'll pretty much listen to anything (except for country). My favorite color is pink. Recently, my roommate has gotten me interested in manga. So far I've read MARS, Hana Kimi, Vampire Knight, and some of Full Moon, Paradise Kiss, and I"S. If you know of any really good romance manga pleeeaaasssee tell me about it! I'm desperate!

I first got into writing fanfiction when I was twelve years old. I began writing a Sailor Moon fanfiction first. I have recently found my first fanfiction and it's TERRIBLE but I may post it up for everyone to read for some laughs =D From Sailor Moon, I began to get interested in Sailor Moon crossovers with Dragon Ball Z, Gundam Wing, and Harry Potter. I ventured over to Justice League fanfiction next, which lead me to read Teen Titans fanfiction. (Just to let you know how long I've been around: when I first started reading Teen Titans fanfiction there was less that 1,000 stories in the category. Now there's over 20,000!)

I took a looonnnggg hiatus from writing. I'm an extremely lazy person, so when I don't feel like writing, I just won't. Writing is like a stress relieving tool for me, so please don't expect timely updates from me. I have decided to attempt to pick up writing again, which is why you are now seeing a little bit of activity with me (even though right now it's just me editing all of my old stuff).

READING REVIEWS BRIGHTENS MY DAY!! I absolutely love knowing that there are people out there reading stuff that I've taken so much time to write. When I get those notification emails that someone have review, added me as favorite, or put me on their alert list I have a huge smile on my face.

What I can promise my readers:

Chapters that are at least 1,000 words long. There is nothing I hate more than a chapter shorter than that.

Romance. I am a hopeless romantic at heart. That may be a pathetic fact, but my love for romance will be reflected in my fics. If you don’t like that, turn away. Now.

Teen Titans fanfiction. I will continue writing in this genre as long as I continue writing fanfiction. I admit, I hate reading in this category, but I am terribly in love with writing it. I guess I’m kind of backward... Whatever.

Robin and Starfire romances. This is the cutest coupling in my opinion. They pair so well, and I promise I will never stop writing fics featuring this couple. I don’t think all my fics will be solely this couple, though. Its always refreshing to write different couplings.

Completion. I will always do my best to finish everything I start, even if it takes me 10 years.

What I can’t promise my readers:

Timely updates. In my opinion, this is my worse flaw. I have an inability to write and post chapters quickly.

Perfect chapters. I don’t proof-read well, but I do it often, so if a chapter has grammatical errors in it the first time you read it, chances are that I will eventually spot it and fix it.

Happy endings. A sad, realistic ending is nice to stick in here or there. Get used to it.
