Author has written 20 stories for Covert Affairs. Wow! I've written 20 Covert Affairs stories. Not all of them are completed, because my muse is very scatterbrained and likes to jump from story to story. Everything will be competed eventually, just be patient with me please. I really hate it when I leave stories hanging, but I'd rather focus on the stories that I'm actually inspired to write, the ones that comes easy to me, rather than the ones I struggle with. This is because writing is something I do to relax after a long day/week at work and I don't want it to become a chore. A little bit about me... I'm 33 years old and I grew up in a small town about 20 miles outside of Norway's capital Oslo. I still live there. I've got a BA in Interior Design and work in that field. I just moved in with my boyfriend and I feel so lucky to be with him. Unfortunately I have encountered a bit of prejudice because of our relationship; he is paraplegic and apparently it's very weird that I can be in love with a disabled man. Martin is so much more than his disability and he's the best man I've ever met; great sense of humor, kind, emphatic, smart...basically everything I've ever wanted in a man. At least my family sees that, and my friends are coming around too. I just wish people were a bit more open minded and willing see beyond his wheelchair...*sigh* How I met Martin... I've had a couple of PM's here and on Twitter asking how I met Martin and I figured I'd share the story here. The first time we met was in college. We both took a one year foundation course in business and administration and were part of the same group of friends. After that first year I started studying Interior Design and he went on to study Engineering. Although we went to different schools we both lived in the same town and our group of friends kept in touch. After graduation he moved to a different part of the country because he landed a job there and we lost touch. I had no idea he'd sustained a spinal cord injury in a skiing accident not long after he graduated from college. Last summer we ran into each other. Since I had no idea he'd been injured I have to admit it was a bit of a shock to see him in a wheelchair for the first time. We ended up having lunch together and he told me he'd moved back to town because he landed a great new job here. Over the next few months we rebuilt our friendship and back in October he asked me to go on a date. From that things have been progressing quickly and over Easter I moved in with him. Have to say I can't wait to move into our new apartment in July - his place is a bit too small for two people. I certainly don't have enough closet space and he thinks I have to many shoes. He might have a point... I think he has too much computer equipment and how many video game consoles do a man need? ;o) And why I write... About 15 years ago I spent a year in the US as an exchange student and after I returned to Norway I kept reading a lot of English/American books and magazines and did some writing to keep my English sharp. When I got addicted to Covert Affairs back in the summer of 2011 I discovered the world of fan fiction and the mid-season finale in season 2 inspired my first story; "Roommates".
