Author has written 6 stories for Highlander, and Lord of the Rings.

Hi!

I'm a great fan of Highlander (especially everything concerning the ROG), Tolkien's work and universe, (both Tolkien's books and Peter Jacksons Movies), Terry Pratchett, and everything else that happens to catches my far too widespread passion for fantasy universes. I also write original stories and poetry; some of this can be found at my fictionpress-net profile under the same pen-name.

I like slash, and write mostly slash, too. Some of this is too dark and mature stuff to be posted here, so I post it on 'adult fanfiction net' under the name of 'Crowdaughter', and on 'Legolas in Chains'. At the moment, I am writing a dark Aragorn / Legoas slash story called "Mael-Gul". Be warned that this is a very dark and very grim alternative universe dealing with BDSM, non-con and slavery, so do not read if you do not like. It can be found in my live journal

The things I post here on fanficton net, however, are not rated above "M".

But I also like well written het and gen. Unfortunately, I rarely write gen; but I adore well written gen stuff, especially if it is close to canon or a well written and thoughtful Alternative Universe.

The one thing I can not abide and absolutely refuse to read are Mary Sues, aka the annoying female original character stealing the main characters of the universe the show. The other thing I can't abide in Tolkien fiction is an abusive Thranduil, and in Highlander fiction a weak Methos. Go Figure!

Most of my own stuff is WIP, and I do not update too regularly. So please, have patience. At the moment, I'm mostly reading and reviewing Lord of the Rings, although I have yet to post any gen stuff suited to be posted here in that universe. So, most of my writings that you will find here are Highlander. I am delighted to get feedback, especially if it is critical but supportive. Also, I'm not a native English speaker (I'm living in Germany), but hope it does not show too much... Therefore, feel free to point any grammar and spelling errors out to me, I'll try to get better!

Unfortunately, I am also a very slow writer. And a most infrequent updater. I regret to say that I may, at times, keep my readers waiting for month (cough- years - cough!). Sorry! Anyway, Hope you enjoy my scribblings.

Here follow just some more recommendations:

My favorite LOTR-writers, not all of whom are still posting here, are:

- Thundera Tiger (First and last and always, though her cliff hangers always rob me of my sleep!
Her story Beyond this World is just beautiful, and everything else she writes is breathtaking, at the least);
- Jocelyn (For "A Little Nudge Out Of The Door" and "Elvensong");
- Nimue_I_Am (For Unravelling The Tale):
- Werecat, who writes intelligent short stories that are simply delightful, and who wrote several breathtaking short stories in defense of the infamous Queen Beruthiel;
- LeRouret, for her breathtaking story Unrepentant, Unforgiven, which is now avaiable only at the Open Scroll Archive, a dark AU involving a badly behaving Eowyn raping Legolas; also check out her great stories The Green Knight and My Dear Bandorbas over at 'Stories of Arda';
- Marnie, whose Celeborn stories are awesome and give much needed credit to this rarely starring character;
- and Lamiel, for "In The Deep Places" and her new, breathtaking dark AU This Present Darkness. Awesome!

And here follows a recommendations of my latest obsession, Fanfiction set in the Harry Potter Universe:

- Down the Rabbit Hole, for her very fine HP / LotR Crossover There And Back Again and her short story Forgiveness; all her stuff is great, and I am eagerly awaiting an update to her stories! Check them out, they are wonderful!
