Lately I'm doing parodies, since I like that sort of stuff and they're fun to write. I also like writing slash pairings (m/m & f/f) between my favorite characters, tough rocks for anyone who thinks it's gross. Also, I would never insert my own characters into a story to pair up with my favorite characters, because I can't stand that sort of stuff and I consider it a form of cheating.
