My name is Camy D. also known as TealLife. When I was 10 and younger I hates books and reading and music. I was a strange child, I know. Alot of that changed though. When I was 10 years old my mom asked me to read a book about dolphins and island, my dad (who doesnt like reading I might add) showed me another book. He said, "Read this book, if you dont like it I wont have you read anything else." The book was called Harry Potter and The Sorcers Stone by J.K. Rowling. I fell inlove with the book the first chapter, maybe eveb first page. I soon became obsessed with the Harry Potter series. I was in love with every word. I finished the first book and a surprisingly fast rate. When I was done I kept asking for the next book. My sister obliged. Whenever I needed the next book in the series she would get it from the Library. I was intranced by every bit of every book. I was angry when Harry was angry, I cried when Harry lost it all. I screamed and giggled when he was kissed or was feeling a strong emotion towards a girl. I threw the book only to get back up and get it to read on when Sirius died. I was one of the super fans that J.K. Rowling dedicated her last book to, or atleast I hope I can add myself into that catagorey. I was obsessed with Harry Potter. Even today I could answer any question anyone asked about the Harry Potter stories. I was once playing a game with my best friend Alyssa. It was a Harry Potter trivia game. It only needed to show two letters (D and Y) for me to guess the answer to the blank thirteen slots. (can you guess it like I did?) I shouted out Dumbledores Army! I was right too! Sometimes I like to think that only J.K. Rowling could answer that fast, but there are probably billions of others better then me. It never curves me though. After the Harry Potter books I loved reading. I would shred through every book I could lay my hands on. Soon I even started to collect favorite Authors and Books. All the Sarah Dessen books, The Twilight Saga, Both Percy Jackson series, The Wander, Ally Condies books, The Hunger Games series, Mortal Insturments and Infernal Devices and so many others. Even music started to enchant me. I started singing. Im not sure if I'm a good singer or not but I love to do it anyway. Soon I became an epic nerd. I was listening to movie soundtracks (you know like classical stuff) reading books, etc. I didnt discover FanFiction until I opened up a Times Magazine. It was talking about what fanfiction was and even mentioned some stories written as an expansion of the Harry Potter Series that I love so much. I quickly got on the computer and looked up the stories it mentioned. They were beautifully written and accurate. It wasnt untill this last year (2011) that I started to write fanfiction for myself. I remember when I started to write that I was so afraid that everyone would hate it, but soon I started getting encouraging reveiws saying to keep writing and that they were awaiting my next chapter. Now, here I am. Writing and reading all kinds of stories, I hope you all find both.
