NEWS

Hihihi! So I'm back with a vengence! I got out of my moping about not being able to do anything correctly and I started back to writing again! It's how I cope. : So what's going down is that a few stories are coming off hiatus! I will be posting an author's note in Dreams: Asylum eventually about why the hiatus is so long--I hate it when I'm reading and it's interrupted by a chapter that's an author's note. Not only is that against ff.net rules, but it's obnoxious. So I figured I would put it with a chapter and hopefully everyone who is reading Dreams will read it. And just so it's out there: Dreams: Asylum is supposed to be a two or three story series. The first one is to outline how they ended up in the asylum. The second one is to show them gaining control in their dreams. And the third one--which was originally supposed to be part of the second one--is them using everything at their disposal from their dreams to get out of the asylum in real life. But I have no idea to go about doing that, so I would prefer to have something in line before I finish Dreams: Asylum.

On another note... I'm completely obsessed with iCarly for the summer. Last summer was Avatar: the Last Airbender and now it's iCarly. Interesting how that works, isn't it? :) So that means some Avatar and iCarly stories will be popping up eventually. And while I love Naruto, I don't plan on making another story outside of Dreams for it because I like to focus on one story per fandom at a time. So as much as I want to make Sakura and Hinata and Ino the amazing female ninjas that they can be, I'm going to wait (amazing as in the way Monty Oum does with the Final Fantasy and Dead or Alive girls in Dead Fantasy I-V. ... You should totally check him out on game trailers, btwhttp://www.gametrailers.com/game/monty-oum/4712 :shameless plug:). XD

Okay, so not to be like... uber psycho person, but I have what I believe to be a legitimate question for authors out there: How in the hell do you manage to make a character that isn't yours a Mary Sue/Marty Stu? Not trying to be insulting or anything. I mean... is it the desire to make a character the complete opposite of what he or she was in the story? I mean... some cases out there, the characters are so far from being anything in their original form and it's an alternate universe story that ties absolutely nothing in their alternate universe to the original work's timeline... Why the hell don't you just post on fictionpress? I mean, that makes a hell of a lot more sense than wanting people to review and then getting upset when they tell you that "you made them majorly out of character" and then think it's a flame. It's not a flame. It's a legitimate criticism.

Okay woo. Rant done.

Delivery Girl (Covenant):
Jasmine is the girl at Spencer who is above average in grades but manages to seem average in the crowd, able to blend in despite the fact that she is one of the few minorities at the school. When she and her friends go to lay flowers at Putnam Barn as a memorial to Chase, they end up in an unusual shop where she finds some necklaces. Once she puts on one of the necklaces, she has unusual dreams with the deceased Chase Collins talking to her. In an unusual chain of events, she ends up unlikely friends with Tyler and Reid and finds out the true meaning behind the necklaces. With her life and others' threatened, will she be able to deliver the necklaces to the place they belong before it's too late?

Status: Chapter 6 posted! Chapter 7 is in the works! And all of the scenes
that was my reason for writing this story is already all written out,
I just have to write all of the in-between stuff. :P
Couples!: (9/3/2008) Okay! So I'm bored and it's early, so I'm going to list the
couples I've come up with. Pardon the initials: PPxKT, CDxSW,
TylerxJean,TylerxJas,JasxAaron (friendship), ReidxGirls (in general
XD) and ReidxJenny. I feel like exploring Reid as a character rahter
than... a womanizing guy who happens to be hot. XD And I
want to do the same for Aaron because no one can be that
big of a douche. :P

Nothing In This World (Card Captor Sakura):
I hate this and don't even want to give a summary for it. Something I wrote in the sixth grade (... 2000-2001? That was about eight or nine years ago, man!) and I must have gotten distracted easily because it's not like it ended up having an actual... point. =D I would totally take it down if it wasn't for the fact that I want people to see how much I've improved as a writer (and for myself to see that as well. I mean, it's ridiculous! :P)

Status: Complete! (Oneshot with sequel inside). And complete
crap is what it is. I beg that you don't read it--and it you
do, please don't review it. I would much rather you reviewed
my newer stuff. :ashamed: XD

Stories on Hold

Dreams: Asylum (Naruto):
AU. What if the Naruto gang woke up in an insane asylum located just outside of Tokyo? What would happen if they all were there because they dreamed of places and things that didn’t exist? When Haruno Sakura and fifteen others are taken in the span of nine years because they dream of each other, the others present in their dreams have to find a way to get them out without becoming discovered. Who is kidnapping them? And why? Things aren’t the way they seem in a world where hiding is necessary to save yourself. Part 1of 2 of the dream series sets up how everyone got there and Part 2 will be centered around their getting out.

Status: Part XI: Year 8, Temari and Gaara posted! Part XII: Hyuuga Hinata being written.
Everything else... I'm pretty sure everything else needs to be written.
But this part of my two (or 3) part Dreams series is almost done! :D

Final Fantasy X: Rikku (Final Fantasy X):
AU. It starts as the beginning of the game. Rikku is a normal seventeen-year-old girl who had gone to a blitzball game to watch her friend, Chappu, the star player of the Zanarkand Abes. She had no memory of her childhood, but was taken care of by Chappu's father, Jecht, and his friend, Auron, until Jecht disappeared when she was seven and Chappu was eleven. Ten years later, that one blitzball game turns her world around. She is sent 1,000 years into the future where she encounters Sin.

Note: Mrow. So as I mentioned before, my computer died. It gave me the blue screen of death
and then I lost my internet and then I got a virus. All in one day. So I had to wipe
off my hard drive. So all I have is the chapter that is posted. If I can find the
notebook I originally wrote this in, then I have three chapters! :P I started
playing FFX again and was inspired to keep writing this. So I'm hoping that this will
be a year-long project (two chaptes a month! :D... Hopefully... I doubt it, but
I'll try... >I gave each part their own names! Happy Arc (part 1), the Seymour Arc (cause the
mother f'er just wouldn't die--part 2), and the Sin Arc (since, you know... it's Sin. And
that mother f'er wouldn't die either :D--part 3).

Stories-to-be-written

Virtual Wars (iCarly): This story has gone through so many different... fandoms, that I'm kinda convinced that iCarly is the most valid one. Or just make it original. :P

Untitled (Avatar: The Last Airbender): All you need to know is that it is going to be pure awesomeness.

Reunions (Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and X-2): The ultimate Final Fantasy x-over. I'm one of the few not a fan of 7, but I adore the characters so... here's what happens when they're all in the FF8 universe.

Zodiac Senshi (Sailor Moon/FF7,8,10(-2) crossover): The zodiac senshi, protectors of their respective planets that they guard.

Silver Millenium Series (Sailor Moon/Gundam Wing crossover): Part 1: Past; Part 2: Present; Part 3: Future.

Rise to the Silver Millenium (Sailor Moon/various): It's basically a short series of stories about scouts' preparation leading up to the Silver Millenium--Rebirth after Galaxia (somewhat AU).
- Part 1 (Sailor Moon/Harry Potter): Venus
-Part 2 (Sailor Moon/Spiderman): Mercury
-Part 3 (Sailor Moon/Inuyasha): Mars
