Author has written 39 stories for Power Rangers, Yu-Gi-Oh, Lord of the Rings, South Park, High School Musical, and Harry Potter. Hi. I'm Brandon, I'm 23, I'm a guy, working behind the scenes in local TV News in middle America. Fanfic-wise, I usually only work on one thing at a time, unless I get struck by inspiration to gin up a oneshot. Then again, most oneshots I write aren't exactly suitable for this site. Link is above. Current Projects: Forbidden: An Albus Severus/Scorpius twoshot. It's about halfway done; then again, it's been about halfway done since October. The Forgotten Twin: Another cliche!fic. Harry has a twin brother, Danny, who is the false!Boy-Who-Lived, and gets all the attention from alive!Lily and James. Harry lives alone in the far end of the Potter House, with only his Godfather Sirius acknowledging his existence. Hufflepuff!Harry, pureblood(kinda)!Harry, evil!Lily. WiP, 6 chapters currently written, won't post until it's done. The Balance: An DM/HP/HG story, with Grey!Harry, Powerful!Harry, slightly manipulative!Dumbledore, and loads of euphemisms and innuendos. I have three full chapters of this written, and a good bit of a fourth, but I'm hesitant to post it because I'm not quite sure where I'm going with it. Untitled HP/DG fic: I've actually written about three pages worth of this. It would feature a lot of sexuality and politics, should I ever post it. On the topic of HP shipping, let me say that while I prefer Harry/Hermione, I am not insanely picky. I know there's a reason JKR put Harry with Ginny. I don't see it, and it seems rather Oedipan to me, but maybe Potter men just have a thing for redheads. That said, I will read Harry/Ginny, if it is well written. I will also read Harry/Draco, because as you can see from some of my past stuff, I like slash. I also have a soft spot for Harry/Daphne Greengrass, because the potential for those fics is astounding and you don't often see a bad one. My favourite types of HP fics I like to read involve Harry becoming powerful/independent and getting a shite-ton of money. As a consequence, I love fics where Harry distances himself from manipulative!Dumbledore and evil!Weasleys. Curiously, I have tried to avoid making my own fic like this, but I may write one at a later date. Finally, I'd like to issue a challenge to any HP author reading this: write me an explanation as to why Voldemort is the way he is: why didn't he try to use his (seemingly limitless) guile and persuasive powers to take power in the Wizarding world legitimately.
