I'm a 21 year old student, living in Germany. English is not my
native language (I learned it in school and I am still taking some
English courses at the University) - this fact still shows a bit in my
stories, particularly my earlier ones. But I've been told my English
has improved quite a bit since I started writing, which was
almost five years ago now.
I'll be the first to admit that
I'm not a very quick writer and only very few of the plot bunnies and
pieces of dialogue in my head end up actually being written. So
in the unlikely case you really liked one of my stories and are now
waiting anxiously for the next piece - take a deep breath, calm down
and come visit me again in a few months, but don't hold your breath.
A
little note on my style (should anybody be interested in hearing it): I
don't do action very well, and I never really like my own dialogues, so
now I mostly do character and mood studies. Plus I discovered for
myself that what I do best is what I call 'characterization from the
outside'. Which means that my favorite character/the one the story is
mostly about, his thoughts and feelings won't be directly heard, but we
see how the people around him perceive him.
Now did any of this make sense to you? Or am I babbeling again?
Anyway, thank you for showing some interest in me, my stories and thoughts and happy reading!
