Write for yourself and celebrate writing." こんにちは! 私の名前はソムウェイーです! はじめまして! どぞよろしくお願いします。 안녕하세요! 만나서 반가워요! My official pen name is Somewei and I go by that name in all the sites I've established. I consider myself a veteran writer since I've been on this site since December 2002. While I('d) love to write for various sections here on FFN, I'd have to say that my specialty is writing for The Powerpuff Girls, a show I've been a fan of since I first saw the pilot in 1995 and again in 1998. I've been writing fiction since I was seven-years-old when my beloved second grade teacher and mother showed me the wonders of reading and writing books. My first work had been entitled The Pirate and the Princess, a story of which is very nostalgic when I flip through it and see the drawings and writings of a second grader. Since then, I like to think that I've grown as a writer. I hope to one day make it as a published author. Whether that happens or not, I believe is in God's hands and, with His help and my determination, I hope to one day walk into book stores and see my book(s) on the shelves with people discussing them. Aside from writing, I'm an avid lover of music. I've been a musician for nearly ten years now. My favorite classical composer is Tchaikovsky while my favorite film music composer is John Williams. While I love my American music (forever a 1990's pop and 1980's rock fan!), I happen to really enjoy (and listen to mostly) K-Pop and J-Pop -- my favorites including Super Junior (슈퍼주니어), Girls' Generation (소녀시대/少女時代), BoA, f(x), 4Minute, SHINee, SCANDAL, and YUI. My music ties in heavily with my writing and I utilize all my music while I write. Like writing and music, I'm a great lover and learner of history and foreign languages. Currently, I'm a history major (emphasis on the Second World War) and a Japanese minor. I have a great respect for other countries and their histories and cultures, and, more importantly, my own country's history and culture. I have a wide range of likes within this site and I try, when I write, to make stories historically accurate and not to stray from said accuracy. I also try and bring depth to the overall story and characters. I write realistically and, as a reader, you will never find me try and bend the characters in a way that is not true to their personalities. I also try to give any and all stories the benefit of the doubt before I judge because I would like that same courtesy in return. I enjoy originality. Very rarely will I write plots that are appear repeatedly in a section unless I feel I can bring something fresh to both the plot and section. I research most things to the best of my abilities. I think a lot about one little thing and I am an extremely busy person, which also makes my stories/chapters come out later than they should. I also plan everything out to the last detail and I try not to rush the story. So, please, if you are a reading a story and feel I am rushing some part of the plot, don't worry, I usually have something in mind for it.
