Many others did this, so I wanted to do it with my penname, which at the time was MetalSnipertheHedgehog. I came up with that name by putting together the names of my three favourtie characters at the time: Metal Sonic (Metal), Fang the Sniper (Sniper). Scourge the Hedgehog (theHedgehog). It was originally just going to be 'MetalSniper', but it was taken. It was also going to be 'MetalSnipertheDarkHedgehog', but I forgot to put the Dark into it (Dark comes from Mephiles the Dark). I started writing stories with Sniper, attempting to make him cool at first until I had him captured in his first story, where he became cowardly. I then drew a picture of him, which went wrong. It made him look stupid, little and confused. However, I decided that the look suited him. I decided to knock 'the Hedgehog' off his name since he was a robot. I gave him a counterpart (which was shortly scrapped), many backstories and some Sonic theme songs with some regular theme songs, drawing him at school in my "Doodle Book". And thus, Metal Sniper was born. Sonny Somerset: Sonny is just an updated form of Ropster. I made her in a RP so I could basically roleplay as a hyper kid dimension-crosser again, since Ropster had grown up and matured. I also decided to make her rival with another user's OC, since I didn't like how their OC always won battles (he also biased things towards his best friend in the RP, too). I became quite attached to Sonny, and thought that the Dragon Ball Z Universe would be a good "Home Universe" to her, since that was where she was created. Callie Robotnik: I was working on a sprite animation when I was younger. I got a sprite sheet of Maria Robotnik and re-coloured it to look like me, with brown hair and green eyes wearing a black dress (since by favourite colour was black). Her last name was Robotnik, but her first name was mine. However, I developed her backstory a little, which changed many, many times, and continued to work on her until I was satisfied. The name was not satisfying, so I tried to change it. Originally I wanted a name that sounded like Maria, but I thought it would be too strange. One day I went to my friend's house, and while we were on the Xbox, he kept calling me 'Cal'. The reason for this was because he was mistaking me for his older brother Callum. I often made the same mistake by calling him 'Tom'. Sometimes he even called me 'mum'! Anyway, I eventually told him to stop calling me Cal because I reminded him that I was obviously not a boy. My friend stated that I looked like a 'Callie' or something, and then that name immediately stuck in my head for my developing character. I did all I could to get that name out of my head (since in my drama-belief I believe that names ending in the 'ee' sound (Amy, Mary, Polly etc.) weren't dramatic enough, since my name also ended in that sound. However, Callie was a name that stuck in my head, and so while writing the original 'The Curse of the Robotnik Name', I wrote that down as her name. And so, Callie Robotnik was created. Couples I Have Written About: MetalXCallie MetalXPoppy MephilesXCynthia ShadowXMaria SniperXMarilyn EmmiXSilver EMMIXSilver AvaXNazo Characters with changed backgrounds in stories: The Curse of the Robotnik Name Metal Sonic - Metal Sonic was the first robot to be properly named by Doctor Ivo Robotnik, being named Metal since he was supposedly not supposed to be a copy of Sonic. He was invented in 1990 to save Ivo's dying daughter who had the disease "Robotto Koka", shortly after Debra, the girl's mother, had passed. Metal was allowed to name the girl, naming her Callie. He was happy with her at first until he was sent out to fight Sonic, being warned my Mecha Sonic the previous year that he was going to fight Sonic one day. Metal was nicknamed "Metal Sonic" by everyone, including Ivo. He became best friends with Callie, but had his downfalls with her and had many traumas in his life. Mephiles the Dark - Mephiles was created to be Shadow the Hedgehog's copy in 1977. He had been worked on since 1975 and his project name was "Project: GULF", which was short for 'GUN's Ultimate Life Form'. Because of a malfunction he had many flaws, such as wrong colouring, no mouth, lack of emotions and speed, unable to support head well and an altered voice. He befriended one of the soldiers daughters, named Cynthia West, who was four at the time. Mephiles was named by her after a character in her fairy tale since he believed that he had no name. By the time Cynthia was ten, GUN had discovered an odd dark substance, which Mephiles knew was Dark Matter. He warned the researchers about it, but was instead the one to be infected by it. It kept telling him what to do, and after three times of unleashing his dark side (crystalline side), he became corrupted. The last time he did transform, he had two minutes with a free mind, and with that free mind, he saved a 17 year-old Cynthia from a burning house. However, before Cynthia got a chance to speak to Mephiles the Hedgehog, she was speaking to Mephiles the Dark, and began fighting him. She scarred his arm in the fight by cutting it deeply with her knife, and was saved by the GUN Commander and some firemen. Ever since that Mephiles has been manipulating people - including Metal, Callie, Marilyn, EMMI and Sniper. OC Trivia: Metal Sniper the Hedgebot 1) His name was based off my first penname, MetalSnipertheHedgehog, formed from three of my favourite Sonic characters at the time. 2) His personality is very much like Steel Sonic's original personality.
