Author has written 33 stories for Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Signs, Angel, Village, CSI, Prison Break, Four Brothers, One Tree Hill, O.C., and CSI: New York. My name is Candace, Candy to most people. I'm 20 years old and I've been writing here at fanfiction.net since I was about 12 (hence the stupid user name that I don't have the heart to change after all these years). I know, it's crazy. Obviously there have been some long hiatuses in there, but I always come back in the end. My early stories make me cringe but I'm glad I had them then, I needed them. I love writing, I love characters, I love stories. Obviously as you can tell I've written for a variety of different ships and fandoms over the years and am always jumping back into them at the strangest times. Currently my loyalties mostly lie with CSI:NY. D/L are everything I've ever wanted from a cannon couple =) I first fell in love with them during 'Not What It Looks Like', in that moment as Lindsay is strapping on her vest and you can really see the realization in Danny's eyes of how much he cares about this girl, how terrified he is of something happening to her and how awed by her bravery he is at the same time. Got me hook line and sinker. And look how far they've come! I write a lot of Don Flack too and will read just about anything about the team. Detective Don Flack is my dream man! haha. Danny Messer is a close second. Oh, Scotty Valens could beat them both out on the right day, love my Philly boy =) This is my favorite Danny/Flack friendship moment and I think it accurately sums up not only what makes these characters tick. Detective Danny Messer: Why do we do what we do, huh? Right now: I'm knee deep in penning a bunch of CSI:NY one shots centered around Danny, Lindsay and their son of my creation Giovanni. I understand kidfic isn't everyone's slice of pie, sometimes it's not mine either. I try really hard to actually put some substance into my stories though besides cute kid stuff.
