Hiyas! I'm sorceress of the nile. Okay things about me...I'm a girl, last I checked and will fight for human rights, and rights of women and girls. I'm the middle child of three kids, I love animals,mostly horses but I like cats and dogs. I like anime and reading fantasy stuff. Stuff with magic makes me happy! I love old Disney movies like Lion king and Jungle Book. My two favorite movies of all time is Great Mouse Detective and Lion King. I like all kinds of music. Greetings to the fine folk that moderate our site.

Myself, along with many, have been writing and posting on your fine site for years now, some of the better examples of up and coming writers out there are now suddenly finding some of the stories we've come to love at risk of being removed without the chance to even rectify our errors.

For some, that means the permanent loss of a story. While I don't have anything that I believe violates your terms of use, there are those out there that are never able to recover a story in its original form, this is something I find to be almost worthy of a legal action, as while we cannot claim ownership of a character, the stories are OURS and simply destroying them is something that is inexcusable.

It's quite easy to simply add an MA rating, additional filters or even a simple requirement for a free membership to read the stories presented here, and would cut down on hateful anonymous reviews and posts at the same time, so I have to question as to why such a thing, in all this time, simply wasn't added.

If you're worried about falsification of a registration then have an appropriate disclaimer and then there can be no dispute, you took your steps and the PARENTS didn't monitor their children, if that is even your concern. If it is more of a personal view or desire then please at least let people know and give them a chance to remove a story that you and yours find offensive, most people on the site are actually rather cordial when it comes to such requests.

While I cannot say for sure if this letter will even reach those that may be willing to listen, of if it's more akin to a wide spectrum purge in preparation for something bigger, please understand that you are going to be looseing a LARGE number of your writers, and thus your income from a lack of readers if there is not some level of action taken to help with this situation.

For those that may agree with this, please feel free to sign on and send this to the support server, maybe we can get some movement on this.

Bio: Tenionia was the princess of Teorioa Egypt, which was the kingdom that lay to the West and was a place of strong dark magic. She was next in line for the throne when she discovered that she carried a piece of the goddess Isis in her Ka, with it, incredible white magic. Her father saw this as a way to bring the Pharaoh and his kingdom to their knees, but Tenionia fled with her brother Silos to the Pharaoh. In the end, Tenionia sealed both her spirit and her father's spirit deep into the Millennium coin. But before she died, her sister Zireria was sent to the Shadow Realm. Personality: She is a polite, quiet girl that will punch you out if she has to. She is also wise and acts as an guardian for E.

FAMILY: An older brother-Simon.

BIO: After inheriting the millennium coin at ten, Elecktra had her world knocked to the core. Simon and Elecktra's parents were murdered by an unknown cause and their children were forced into the care of an abusive stepfather. After Simon turned 18 and finished his schooling to be an archeologist, their stepfather kicked him out. Elecktra helped her brother until he was able to stand on his own but she became the victim of her stepfather's beatings. She goes to Marik or her brother for shelter and is well-known in the dueling world. She sings and she duels to let go of the pain. Her nickname is the Egyptian Duelist, because her deck is Egyptian themed monsters and spell cards. Her rarest card and favorite card is Isis the trickster.

PERSONALITY: Tough and spunky at first glance and hard to get along with if you don't really like what she's about, but she's a sweet and intelligent girl once she's comfortable with someone. Even with people she doesn't like, she's stubborn and short-tempered. She can often pushes people she cares about away because she knows that she can put innocent people in danger and/or be a burden to them. She can also be sarcastic when she wants and often angers people because of it.

Personality: Aleinea is a shy quiet girl and a loner. She dislikes being in the center of attention for very long and REALLY hates it when people ask about her personal affairs.

Story: Aleinea was originally born in a small village on the Nile with her father. One day when she was ten years old, men came to the village and attacked it, taking small children, loot and killing the inhabitants. Her father tried to protect her, but only got him and Aleinea caught and all Aleinea could do was watch helplessly as the men stabbed her dad. For the next five years, she was tortured and beaten by the men who captured her and she would have died if it wasn't for Alexander Merane (Elecktra's father)

Birth Mother: Unknown, she disappeared after Aleinea was born.

BIO: Amba was born on July 17 at 9:00 pm. When she was twelve, her mom told her that she was a magician and that there was a good chance at Amba inherited some of Elecktra's powers. She later found that she could control earth.

Personality: She is a kind-hearted girl with the similar fiery spirit like her mom, but she can often jump to conclusions on some things and can rush into things without thinking. She sings and duels like her mom and is talented at both, but she swims as well.

Wardrobe: A black tank top with jean shorts and wide black belt with a silver belt loop and a silver headband in her black hair. She wears a silver Shen amulet (Eternal)

Powers: Earth, She can call plants and can charm plants to obey her. She also knows about plants from around the world, including Egypt and Japan.

Power: Speak to animals and control air. Elecktra told both him and Amba that their powers complete one another.

Personality: Sweet and caring, but also has a hard time following orders. She cares deeply for Basil and Dawson, but also cares for her other friends that are outside the law, including Fidget. She also has a bit of a trust issue and can tell when someone is lying.

Parents: Mother is dead from child-birth and her Father had disowned her after she was born.

Bio: Her mother passed away when she was born and her father over expected things from her. He ended up disowning her when she ran away from home at sixteen. Then she met Ratigan and became pretty much his adopted daughter. Then she became the medical examiner of Mouseland yard and met Basil and Dawson.
(I'll explain her past more in one of my stories, sooner or later.)

Wardrobe: A light blue dress that cuts off at her ankles with white lace on the neckline and a pair of brown leather riding boots.

Name: Fokkusu, Warrior princess of the Zenko Kitsune

Age: She's about 500 years old, but she's like Inuyasha, she looks like she's eighteen.

Demon?/Half Demon?: She's a Kitsune , which is a fox spirit.

Personality: She a very good example of why NOT to judge a book by its cover. She seems to be innocent and a little naïve, but in reality, she is very wise and is firm. She is agile (and this helps when she has to fight), has a fiery temper, but she believes strongly in Truth, Beauty, Loyalty and Justice and will protect those that she is close to. She also has a soft spot for wounded demons and for children. She also takes her promises very seriously.

Eye color: Dark blue with silver flecks

Hair color: Black with two long pieces framing her face with two blue beads in it.

Looks: She has a white stripe down her tail. When she's in human form, she'll wear a royal blue and white armor similar to Sesshomaru's armor . When she's as a fox, she is a black furred fox with white marks on her face around her eyes, on her forehead, ears and along her seven tails and down the slope of her back. Her pearl when she is in human form, it's hidden in her obi around her waist and when she's in fox form it's on her head or on one of her tails.

Story: Fokkusu was the only daughter of a powerful kitsune lord and his wife, leaders of the Zenko kitsune.(Or Inari foxes, good foxes) When the Yako (Field foxes) kitsune came calling, her mother gave up her life to save her husband and child. The Great Dog Demon helped care for her and helped her develop her powers, but when he died, her father tried to hide her away from both humans and kitsune, so he tried to seal her away, but she broke the seal and fled into the forest where she resides. From a grove, she offers help to all those ask, but she does leave the grove and travels with both Inuyasha's group and Sesshomaru's group.

Powers: Can control water, heal herself and others, speed, shift from seven tailed fox to human

Weapons: She knows how to wield many weapons, but she prefers sai and fan blades if she can't use her powers for some reason.

Relationships: Fokkusu is kind to many people, but she adores Rin and Shippo and gets along with Kagome and Sango. She believes that Sesshomaru is capable of feeling emotion, he just doesn't show it and she finds it amusing how Inuyasha is controlled by Kagome. She doesn't mind Jaken, though she thinks that he is a little hard on Rin and is over clingy to Sesshomaru. When she met Miroku, she punched him and he was honestly kind of afraid of her after that. She is kind to all of them, but Inuyasha kind of irritates her.

Name: Serafin

Age: 19

Angel/Human: Human, but she has a close connection to magic.

Eye color: Green

Hair color: Blonde

Personality: She is shy and meek most of the time, but she has a rebellious streak in her and she can take a hit. She also is very close to Krad, he cares a lot about her though he doesn't admit it.

Past: She lives in a tower and suffered at the hand of her uncle's beating her until she was bruised and bleeding. She was healing herself when she met Krad. He was standing in her window and they stared at one another like they were aliens. She has a mark on her upper arm that she doesn't remember how she got it, but she became determined to find out how she got it.

Name: Linian (AKA: Lin)

Age: 300 though she looks like she's 17

Angel/Human: Angel (Kind of, explained in her story)

Personality: Lin is kind but she also isn't afraid to throw a punch if she has to. She acts a lot like an annoying sister to Dark, but she does trust him with her life. She teases the people she loves and she calls Dark a baka on a regular basis. She also prides herself on knowing a lot of insults, most of which she uses against Dark.

Looks: She is 5'8'' with an hourglass figure, long black hair with a slight curl to it, light skin, bronze eyes and bronze wings. She usually dresses in a black top with light blue jeans with silver treading. Her hair is often pulled back with bangs touching her eyes, probably the only time she has her hair down is when she is sleep. She also has marks on her palms that look like ten pointed stars. When she was asked about them, she just said they burned themselves into her palms when she was turned into an angel.

Past: She was originally a human girl that lived in a village. Her parents had died when she was very young and her uncle took her and her younger sister in. Her uncle was messing with magic from a Hikari artwork and it reacted violently. It killed Linian's sister and concentrated the power into her, giving her wings and changing her eye color. She said to Dark one time:

"I'm not like you and Krad, Dark. I was human once, and it pains me to think about that my younger sister had to die because of a stupid mistake that my uncle made. Out of all the things that I've done, letting her die was the one I regret the most..."

Powers: She can heal, summon her bow which she nicknamed, Aktria, she can perform seals that even Dark doesn't recognize, she can also speak to spirits

BIOS: Jason and Niko are famous duelists with decks that seem to be tricky to beat, and according to my sister, they're ninjas also. Nakami is one of those girls that seem all sweet, but really she's clever and tricky to fool.

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year.

She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, she asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger.

When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to cry.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story.

The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before.

When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked her for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her.

She asked if they would ask the man one question.

She was curious as to why he had not attacked her.

When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her."

She jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon come out of the operating room.

The surgeon asked, 'Would you like some time alone with your son? One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university.'

Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while she said good bye to son. She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick red curly hair. 'Would you like a lock of his hair ?' the nurse asked. Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.

The mother said, 'It was Jimmy's idea to donate his body to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. 'I said no at first, but Jimmy said,

'Mom, I won't be using it after I die Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom.' She went on, 'My Jimmy had a heart of gold.

Always thinking of someone else. Always wanting to help others if he could.'

Sally walked out of Children's Mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her in the car.

The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bag with the lock of his hair to her son's room.

She started placing the model cars and other personal things back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his pillow, cried herself to sleep.

It was around midnight when Sally awoke. Laying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said:

'Dear Mom,

I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say 'I Love You'. I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day. Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me. He can have my room and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do. You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, you know. Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures. Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD ! And guess what, Mom ? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you good bye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. Well, you know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. Go d said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him 'Where was He when I needed him ?' 'God said He was in the same place with me, as when His son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children. Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool ? I have to give God His pen back now He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was a Special Delivery! How about that?

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The cashier said, "I'm sorry, but you don't have enough money to buy this doll."

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ''Granny, are you sure I don't have enough money?''

The old lady replied: ''You know that you don't have enough money to buy this doll, my dear.''

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look a round. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

"It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her."

I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry.

But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there."

His eyes were so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister.''

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: "I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall."

Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won't forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister."

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. "Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll?''

"OK," he said, "I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: "Thank you God for giving me enough money!"

Then he looked at me and added, "I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!''

"I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn't dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose.''

"My mommy loves white roses."

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

One day, when I was a freshman in high school,

I saw a kid from my class was walking home from school.

His name was Kyle.

It looked like he was

carrying all of his books.

I thought to myself, 'Why would anyone bring home all his books on a Friday?

He must really be a nerd.'

I had quite a weekend planned (parties and a football game with my friends tomorrow afternoon), so I shrugged my shoulders and went on.

As I was walking, I saw a bunch of kids running toward him.

They ran at him, knocking all his books out of his arms and tripping him so he landed in the dirt.

His glasses went flying, and I saw them land in the grass about ten feet from him.

He looked up and I saw this terrible sadness in his eyes

My heart went out to him. So, I jogged over to him as he crawled around looking for his glasses, and I saw a tear in his eye.

As I handed him his glasses, I said, 'Those guys are jerks.

They really should get lives. ' He looked at me and said, 'Hey thanks!'

There was a big smile on his face.

It was one of those smiles that showed real gratitude.

I helped him pick up his books, and asked him where he lived.

As it turned out, he lived near me, so I asked him why I had never seen him before.

He said he had gone to private school before now.

I would have never hung out with a private school kid before.

We talked all the way home, and I carried some of his books.

He turned out to be a pretty cool kid.

I asked him if he wanted to play a little football

with my friends

He said yes.

We hung out all weekend and the more I got to know Kyle, the more I liked him, and my friends thought the same of him.

Monday morning came, and there was Kyle with the huge stack of books again.

I stopped him and said, 'Boy, you are gonna really build some serious muscles with this pile of books everyday!

' He just laughed and handed me half the books.

Over the next four years, Kyle and I became best friends..

When we were seniors we began to think about college.

Kyle decided on Georgetown and I was going to Duke.

I knew that we would always be friends, that the miles would never

be a problem.

He was going to be a doctor and I was going for business on a football scholarship..

Kyle was valedictorian of our class.

I teased him all the time about being a nerd.

He had to prepare a speech for graduation.

I was so glad it wasn't me having to get up there and speak

Graduation day, I saw Kyle.

He looked great.

He was one of those guys that really found himself during high school.

He filled out and actually looked good in glasses.

He had more dates than I had and all the girls loved him.

Boy, sometimes I was jealous!

Today was one of those days.

I could see that he was nervous about his speech.

So, I smacked him on the back and said, 'Hey, big guy, you'll be great!'

He looked at me with one of those looks (the really grateful one) and smiled.

' Thanks,' he said.

As he started his speech, he cleared his throat, and began

'Graduation is a time to thank those who helped you make it through those tough years.

Your parents, your teachers, your siblings, maybe a coach...but mostly your friends...

I am here to tell all of you that being a friend to someone is the best gift you can give them..

I am going to tell you a story.'

I just looked at my friend with disbelief as he told the

story of the first day we met.

He had planned to kill himself over the weekend.

He talked of how he had cleaned out his locker so his Mom wouldn't have to do it later and was carrying his stuff home.

He looked hard at me and gave me a little smile.

'Thankfully, I was saved.

My friend saved me from doing the unspeakable..'

This was actually a story I had heard when I was at school. My teacher had read it outloud and everyone in the room was shocked. I just smiled. I had known a girl in grade seven that had just moved from BC. She ended up going back but she left a note and a necklace.
